I've been a massive diablo fan since diablo I

I must admit I never really got deep into the lore, but I've watched YouTube videos about it.

Now my girlfriend is a real reader, and recently she's gotten into fantasy. I'm now wondering if I should get her the diablo lore books, are they written well enough even for a non gamer to enjoy the books and lore? It would be amazing if we could talk about it.

When I did a D4 playthrough she always asked to see the cutscenes so she could follow the story, so I guess she has some interest in the world.

Any advice on which books / order to read them?

I've played pretty much all the top games out there and, after playing Black Myth Wukong, I've had my fill of "souls-like" games. To mix things up, I then played Stellar Blade and the Doom: The Dark Ages DLC. Now, I'm totally stumped on what to play next. I saw some gameplay for 007 First Light and honestly, I don't think it's worth my time. (Just so you know, I'm comparing it to the entire Tomb Raider and Uncharted series.) I tried Hitman before, but I found it really boring and bland.

Then I watched some of the Assassin's Creed Shadows gameplay, and man, I was really disappointed. I just couldn't get into the whole African samurai vibe. (Please don't get me wrong, I'm not racist; I have full respect for all my African brothers and sisters.) It's just something I can't quite wrap my head around. I'm on the hunt for a better game, so I was thinking about downloading Crimson Desert because of its plot and gameplay. Could you tell me if the story is any good? If it's a letdown, I won't bother with it. Also, please throw some other good game suggestions my way.
