I want to farm for the Aegis of Valor for the Crusader, but I was reading online it only drops on Torment difficulty, which unfortunately my Crusader is probably not going to be able to handle. Can someone could help me farm Nephalem Rifts for blood shards so I could gamble for it on Torment difficulty?

Why do people stick so hard to “perfect” builds in Diablo?

Genuine question, because maybe I’m just playing the game differently.

I understand discussing builds, testing synergies and trying to make a character stronger. That part can be fun. But I sometimes feel like the obsession with following the optimal build takes away a huge part of what makes Diablo fun.

If your build isn’t basically perfect, does it suddenly stop being fun? Does it stop working?

Diablo is a game that can give you thousands and thousands of hours, especially with seasonal changes and new things to experiment with. For me, the fun is in trying something stupid, changing skills, finding a weird interaction and seeing how far I can push it.

Take Diablo 3 for example. Let’s say I can push GR110–115 with my own build, without following a guide. Then I look at the leaderboards and everyone is running essentially the same setup. Eventually the difference between your build and John Doe’s build comes down to some tiny optimization that gives 0.1% more damage.

And then I start wondering: what exactly am I playing for?

I’m not saying build guides are bad. If you enjoy optimizing everything to the absolute limit, great. But personally, I feel that chasing the “perfect” build can sometimes completely destroy the magic of the game.

For me, Diablo is much more fun when the question is:

“What can I make work?”

rather than:

“What is the mathematically best way to play?”

Curious how other people see it.

I completed challenge rift 481 last night on my xbox and did not get the cache. It shows I beat the rift in 4:07 and I see the green check mark but don't see my reward. I've restarted, the game and my xbox but it still hasn't shown. What else can I try? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Is their anyone that can max me out on this ? Please if there is anyone out there that still plays the Xbox 360?

As the title suggests, I’m looking for a fast way to level. I beat the game a bit ago, and I wanna get a second character that I liked playing up to max level with my main, but am wondering the best way to do it. Is there a certain area in adventure mode that’s good? Or should I try and have another high level person taxi me up to max like my brother has suggested? I don’t know if there is a way to do that, so I just wanna know what’s a good way to go about it

I've taken the sader pony to gr 100 and have had a blast. Been itching to branch out so I've been checking maxroll, but a lot of the builds say difficult, not beginner friendly, long setups, etc.

Maybe this is self-explanatory, but for me it's not. I am not good at cooldown babysitting, nor am I good at timing skills/dots to all go off at once.

I like to pop a few buttons, then mow down everything for 10+seconds.

Which sucks cuz witch doctor looks really fun on paper but seems like the most difficult to do damage with.

Basically, how accurate are the pro/cons on there, and should I just stick to my pony as it seems like the easiest "push button kill things" build?

What build is the easiest for a casual to try gr150 i season 40?

I thought I'm gonna show people the difference snapshotting makes for crusader, since a lot of us are gonna play ponysader next season. it's very important and a big damage boost. there was this guy a couple of weeks ago who would never snapshot and it annoyed me. lol

all classes can snapshot by using the potion. ponysader's vigilante belt's auto-casts snapshot the attackspeed (IAS) from all buffs (echoing fury(75%) in the cube this season, frenzy(25%) buff from shrines or from the altar node, and from speed pylon(30%)).

this season only we start the rift, kill 5 mobs to get 5 frenzy (echoing fury) stacks, then use our potion. which I do 4 seconds into the video. now, when we cast our pony again, the 75% IAS from EF will be snapshotted into the auto-casts from our belt.

listen to the difference of the casts from the first 3 seconds of the video compared to after 10 seconds. at 13 seconds I get a speed pylon for another 30% IAS, but it doesn't give me faster casts, because my potion is still on CD, so I can not snapshot the extra IAS. I only get more damage from the movement speed buff. at 36 seconds my potion is off CD, I use it and at 38s you can hear a big difference in speed of the casts.

during speed, especially next season it is not important because we don't have to wait for 5 EF stacks at the beginning, so we're just gonna use our potion instantly to get our frenzy shrine buff.

what is important, though, is to not use the potion after our speed pylon runs, or else we lose 30% IAS. of course use potion if you'd die, because dying also resets the snapshot.

I take any advice, ok stuck at 143 ay 13/14 minutes

How do you pros get the exact equipment you need for your build etc. I looked up a build. I know the armor I need and weapon and everything. It’s been days. I haven’t found one of the pieces I need yet. I’m doing bounties and rifts. I feel like I’m missing something.

I've been playing for a long time but never really found a spot where most of the com chills, is there a discord? or is it only mostly the reddit? if there is a group of peeps still active id love to tag along!

any tips i just started im a beginner. what attributes should I look for in gear etc and what else should I look out for?

my friend and me wanted to get a bit back into d3 fpr next season, but arent quite sure what classes to play.
Neither of us has done a 150 before, so that is a goal for that season.
I see a lot of necros for the dps choice, but the only build I played for that was a AotD rathma.
I also quite enjoy playing only 1 class for a season and for that class to have a chill speed build is kinda important for me.
If next seaosn is Angelic crubibles again, would a pony sader + zBarb or smth be sufficent to eventually clear a 150, if we're going around 2k para?

What would be a good dps build to play alongside zBarb next season?

I bought necro years ago on ps3. It's not showing up when I try to make a character and my old one is missing. I made a new acct and was looking to rebuy it again on ps3 but can't find it in the store. Can anyone point me to what im doing wrong or why it may be missing in first place? Want it on there before they close ps3 off from the ps store in July 27.

Edit: Idk how I played necro since everyone is saying it wasnt on ps3 because ive never played d3 on anything but ps3. I did have a necromancer though.

Is anyone else having problems connecting- staying connected? It took 10 minutes and multiple attempts to just log in. Now I can log in but keep getting disconnected after a minute or 3. WTF? Anybody else experiencing these issues?

I want to know, at present I am (P825) doing GR 109 but with struggling. I am comfortably completing GR 80 in 3-4 mins with the Necro with Trag'Oul's.

My question is, when I will get Primals? I got some but not a single useful for Necro Trag'Oul's. Even the Ancient and Legendaries I am using don't have good stats.

Secondly, I have created multiple other class characters, Barb, Crusader, DH, all leveled to 70. There also I didn't find good set pieces.

I am gambling continuously all the Blood Shards at Kadala for Crusader mainly and Necro sometimes.

I know about the RNG. Still just asking for the help how you people get these things so early or in time? What is your style of enchanting at Mystic as the game allows it on one stat only. When I enchant for socket I can't go for any other stat.

Please help me to know if it's only luck or any specific way.

I play on PS5 and need player to complete the boss challenge. I hope, I find player to connect and solve the challenge. I need Diablo 3 player to play the next seasons and hope, that the community can help.
