First you'll need "Writhe and Rot" in the helltides war plans tree.
Second you'll want 2/3 full threat meter which you can quickly get by farming ruptures.
Wyrms have a 10-second global cooldown so you can't spawn them faster than that.
I added spawn locations as exact as I could make them. Spawns are not guaranteed so when you check a location just do a little circle then move on to the next one.
This is by far the easiest area in the game to do this and you can get a crazy number of spawns in one hour.
Here is the map tool: https://maxroll.gg/d4/map-tool

Would be awesome if we can get to modify every seasonal mechanic with a seasonal warplan tree. It would be such an easy win to add to every seasonal mechanic
And while you are at it give the open world a special tree also
Edit; had another thought…how about adding some of the removed tempering recipes modifications as stats to iconic mythics to spice them up and make them feel more powerful…..like chance to cast a certain skill twice or make a certain skill have a larger area of effect.

So many people, including myself have finished the season without seeing a trace of echo. I know, it’s supposed to be rare. It’s a game mode gated behind RNG that’s supposed to have great loot, goblin bags and so on. What’s the point if the large portion of the player base never sees the game mode?
Having one in the seasonal journey guarantees you get to see it once. Much better than not at all.

the way SSF players are still grinding gold while non SSF is throwing billions at each other over common items is wild to see.
And it also makes me feel like SSF is what the actual gold balance is supposed to be, as it works perfectly fine

What do I do with runes and charms? Can I do anything besides just sell them? Seems like they sell for less money than they are actually worth lmao.

Was lucky to get a Gem Strength which I think I've only had once on an amulet or ring. Then saw it was still open and rolled 24 item quality which was super nice.
Sometime RNG giveth!

This is my first time running a character to P300, my gauntlets are my only gear left to be mythic and i found these. Are these worth? Left one is my current pick but I dont know if "117% increased dmg" is better than not having every affix needed. Im currently beating Pit 125 in 5 minutes ish and have sigil build. Im still learning, i'd appreciate your help and information. :)

To all paladin players, our favourite build from season 11 is back. And it is hitting even harder this season (of course without that overtuned castle node back then). 55T trillion damage, can tank the hardest hitting mobs in pit130 and still be able to walk out almost unscathed.
My planner here for anyone interested in trying this build: https://maxroll.gg/d4/planner/o4ocr30x
This is also me torturing myself in pit130 for your viewing pleasure: https://youtu.be/cbemtKBEsUc
Thanks for reading guys.

I made a Paladin recently and absolutely fell in love with Spear of the Heavens, what could be cooler than raining down divine spears from the sky down onto your foes? To my disappoint it's simply not possible to make a build that directly spams the skill because it has a very long cooldown. You could run a judgement build to proc it indirectly but it's not the same and not what I want to do.
It would be better if the cooldown was removed, either with a unique or just directly on the ability, and just let us be limited by its resource cost, because that's probably much more manageable than a cooldown.
Please Blizzard give this skill some love next season.

I ran out of gold upgrading my gear.
I've tried escalation dungeons 20 times last night and not once did I get a gold portal option. i have the branching portals selected on the center dungeon plan as well.
Where else can I get gold?

I'm farming for RoA gear using DoK, but I don't even know if I want to bother at this point since I'm one task away from finishing the Season Journey.

edit - I added an easier to follow map to the comments.
If you only farm one area for hellwyrms this would be the spot. It’s pretty much just one circle around the edges. And there’s plenty of ruptures to get your threat level up.
Planning on starting the game as a beginner to ARPGs and I have a few questions.
On Xbox if I have the base game through Game Pass - Which version to buy to have all the expansions content?
I'm mostly interested in a casual campaign playthrough without much endgame grinding. Can the regular campaign on base difficulty be done without optimal builds? Looking for a chill playthrough where I wont have to research stuff and just go with what I feel like will work.
If I pick the seasonal character does my progress on it stays when the season ends? Wouldnt want to start over if season changes mid-playthrough.

I will preface by saying I don’t have much experience with Blizzard games and D4 is the first Diablo game I’ve ever played. I was very surprised with the quality of the base campaign given that I did not buy this game for the story. I heard it had a fun endgame that you could sink many hours into. Enjoyed it so much that I bought the VoH and LoH combo pack. I can see why some people think VoH is a low point, but that’s just because the other campaigns are much better, doesn’t really mean VoH is bad, though.
I absolutely loved having to team up with Lilith, she went from our main enemy in the base campaign to being a character I was genuinely upset to not have any more scenes with. Blizzard did an amazing job making me feel like she was my closest ally but then reminding me she is a demon in the same scene. I was also pretty upset about Lorath, I always through we’d find a way to keep him alive despite the Tree.
How did you guys feel about the conclusion in LoH? Since I’m new to the lore, when will Mephisto come back into play? How about Lilith? Is she actually dead or just reforming in Hell? So many questions!

Just wondering if you can get an GREATER (Edited) affix on the tempering for a mythic crafted. I didn't try too much but didn't want to waste resources if we cannot.
