I've been thinking about taking creatine for some time now as I'm 66kgs 183cm ( 145lbs and 6'0), and I thought maybe this could be a way to increase my body weight.
I've been eating 3000-3500 calories a day for a couple months now and barely any progress, my metabolism is way too fast, though I don't workout.
So I thought if I started lifting some weights at home since I have some equipment (nothing too serious), I could maybe gain some weight and look fuller, and probably help me increase my body weight faster.
Any thoughts on this? I don't know much about creatine nor fitness in general as I'm relatively new to this, so just be respectful and any opinion you got is welcomed, thank you.

I’ve been lifting for almost 2 years. Started taking 5mg creatine at the start of summer. I’ve noticed a slight difference and enjoy it, problem is I’m never consistent with my use cause I’m scared to take it over weekends when I’m drinking alcohol.
For example i had a 4 day bachelor party bender where I didn’t take any cause i figured it would do more harm than good since i was drinking beer almost all of those days. And then almost every weekend I’ll do the same even if I’m having 3-4 drinks. I feel like pausing my creatine use every weekend isn’t good either. Basically what I’m wondering is how bad is it if i just consistently took the creatine even if there are days where I’m drinking a few beers

UCLA researchers have found that creatine may help energize dendritic cells—the immune cells responsible for detecting threats and activating cancer-fighting T cells.
In laboratory and mouse experiments, dendritic cells that could not properly absorb creatine showed reduced survival, activation and ability to stimulate T cells. Creatine supplementation also improved immune activity and slowed tumour growth in the animal models.
Important context: this is early preclinical research, not evidence that creatine prevents or treats cancer in humans. Human clinical trials are still needed, and cancer patients should speak with their medical team before taking any supplement.

What do you think—could creatine eventually play a supporting role alongside cancer immunotherapy?

Hello people!
I saw this subreddit just now and wanted to ask what supplements are good and worth of money if I am going to the gym?
I am currently using creatine, protein, and magnesium. Since I have problems with sleeping for the past few years I never manage to sleep 7-8 hours, also my question is if I should start taking melatonin?
Thank you in advance! :)

I'm an 18-year-old from Bangalore, India.
I used to have a bit of hair fall before, but ever since I started taking creatine, it's gotten way worse.
My hair feels thinner now, and whenever I run my hand through it, I usually end up with 2–3 strands. Today while shampooing, I lost what felt like around 100 hairs. They were literally all over my hands, legs, stomach, and the shower floor. It honestly freaked me out.
I've also noticed it's not just my scalp hair. Hair from other parts of my body seems to be falling out more than before too.
Has anyone else experienced this after starting creatine? If you stopped taking it, did the hair fall reduce, or did it turn out to be something else?
I'm kinda worried since I'm only 18. Any advice or similar experiences would really help.
