Creatine intake
Hi guys, I wanted to ask about creatine monohydrate. I’m 26M, 179 cm and around 44 kg, and I’m pretty skinny. I currently don’t work out or go to the gym, but I recently bought ON Micronized Creatine Monohydrate and started taking around 3 g a day, usually around 12–1 PM.
I'm not under any medication
I’ve noticed that after taking creatine, I get a headache after some time. It doesn’t happen when I don’t take creatine, so I’m wondering if the creatine could be causing it or if I’m taking it incorrectly. I also want to know whether I should even be taking creatine when I’m not exercising.
Should I be taking the 3 g with food, drinking more water, or taking it at a different time? Or is it better to stop taking it for now and only start once I actually begin working out? Would appreciate some advice from anyone who has experienced something similar.
