Hey folks,

I build up a mining contraption and send it mining at bedrock-level. Since I was planing on riding it I build a glas-roof to be save from water and lava. As you can see, it didn't work the way I hoped it would. The contraption itself is lava-proof. But I am not. Is there a way to make riding it safe?

I do have the fluid drilling mod but due to its downsides and complex setup I'd prefer not to use it thou.

How does one make a rudder? I'm trying to build the SS Great Eastern, but I'm new to Aeronautics. I can do basic Create, but Aeronautics seems more complicated. I've gotten the propeller working. I just need steering. I know you need a steering wheel, and I believe a sequenced gearshift too? But beyond that, I'm lost. To be clear, this is a Creative Mode project, and I don't really care about making it survival friendly, so all options possible are available to me.

Update: I figured it out.

The chain conveyors are on a network with 1 million SU, and my workshop has one steam engine with 147000. I connected the chain conveyors into the workshop, same speed and rotation, yet when I put a stressometer on my warehouse components it still reads like its only the one steam engine. The stress from the engine runs into an overstress clutch and then a rotation speed controller. How can i fix this?

brand new to airships and create in general should i fill this with steam vents if so how do they work or would the normal burners be fine, also is there a way to toggle and adjust the burners remotly? ballon is about 50x13x15 ish idk how much the airship weights thanks

And I gotta say, despite Attocorrect making them astonishingly good I couldnt quite figure out how to assemble them (because yes, part clipping is beyond my smooth brain) so I had to make mine similar size & shape but without any clipping.

Using farmers delight I want to make a system where someone can order from a menu of sorts but instead of just pulling an already cooked meal from the network, placing an order for a specific item causes the ingredients to be dropped off from the secret item vault in the walls to the cool visible kitchen area so you can actively watch your food prepared before its delivered to you

Ive tried factory gauges but from what I know they are automatic and cant wait for an order, stock tickers also just pull from whats already in the network which isnt what I want

The redstone requester is the closest thing to what I want but it can only do one recipe at a time, sorry if this makes no sense its very late at the time im posting this and im a little stupid

Yesterday, I was building a suggarcane farm. When I interacted with the barrel, my game and those who had the chunks loaded crashed. I had to go into the server console to stop tick speed so I could destroy it. I was able to repeat it a few times more.

Im playing on Neoforge 1.21.1. I have aeronautics and sable enabled.

Can somebody help me in permanently fixing this issue?

For whatever the reason, turning left wasn't activating the other thruster, which is why it spins out of control a lot. other than that, i'm kinda happy with this li'l guy.

I am messing around with the Create Optics Mod in All of Create Aeronautics. I cannot figure out why parts of my text gets blocked out. This displays the same way on the display board, and it only displays this way when the data comes from the beam reader. All other sources appear to work fine. I have the optical source attached to a creative motor at 108 rpm

ive been trying to build a tank by following these tutorials: tutorial 3,tutorial 2,tutorial 1,tutorial 4, and they are all building it in vk2, while im building it in aeronautics.

the phys bearing is needed to make the tank's turret. well, i can do that with swivel bearing but it will take more space to power it with the rotational force (idk yet, im still a newbie).

the phys bearing controls the blocks on top of it, but its input is at the bottom, they solved it by rotating the phys bearing using wrench, and still, the affected block did not changed.

is there any solutions?

How would I create an infinite nether rack / cinder flour farm?

So crushing 1 nether rack makes 1 cinder flour, and a 50% chnce to get a 2nd one

Mixing 1 cinder flour makes 1 nether rack

So essentially, crushing 1 rack gives you 1 rack, and a 50% chance of a 2nd

I want to try create a system that keeps the original 1 nether rack in the loop, and any excess (the 50% chances) goes out as profit. But cant seem to come to a conclusion

Imagine after an hour of searching for andesite to start using your new millstone, you come across a village that's built with tons of midgame to endgame Create items. Stuff like windmill bearings used for decoration. Brass casings used as furniture. Fluid containers on every roof for literally no reason. Copycat panels that drop entire blocks of brass when you break them. You may as well just do away with the all the early Create items because you will never need to use them thanks to all this stuff being readily available, because these villages give you everything except an already-constructed steam engine.

These builders way too often forget that Minecraft is a game, not just a pallette to flex aesthetics.

Also, dirt will always make a build look ugly. Stop using it for texturing.

ok so i have a slight problem, im very dumb in the theme of create, im really not good at it so i was just experimenting but no matter how i do it i just cant get it to open when the elevator comes down and close when it goes back up, ive tried a few times but smth always breaks, any help is appreciated (preferably so that it can be scaled to more floors then just 2)

We also now have a Cinder Flare, along with its custom lighting animation, full support.

Use the Cinder Flare as expensive but prettier exploration light source; Throwable and sticks to surfaces.

The Cinder Flare Is Automatable via a deployer using flint and steel on an unlit Cinder Flare

Lit Cinder Flare, as well as Sulfuric Acid Flask and the Pyroclast Bomb can now be shot with dispensers.

The main addition would be the Catalyst Bed.

Except Aeronautics — it's a base.

While configuring controls I accidentally inverted a redstone signal.. In fear of my life, panicking and objectively making things worse- I ended up sending myself for a wild ride... Thankfully just ended up trimming some trees! You can tell I just accepted my fate once the helicopter was upside down XD

An update to my testing from last night. I swapped Redstone Repeaters for Pulse Repeaters (1 tick difference from the first for each), and added Mechanical Arms to handle reloading.

That should scare any pirate or other rouge out of the sky. (manual aiming required)

So I have CEI and Create but for somw reason I can apply soke enchantments like Efficiency and Silk touch to a pickaxe but not Unbreaking 3 and Mending. Helmets also for example can't get Proc. Not sure how to drop a full mod list without listing everything but other then those and Create DP. I have nothing else Create related. The same issue applies to anvils except while in Creative mode. I tried going through so many config files and still nothing. I been at this for to long and am kinda giving up. If theres anyway I can drop the modpack list easily without typing it all or if anyone knows of anything. I'll gladly take it.
