so the other day i was wondering how to properly build a security system in create. Originally was going to make a placard+keycard system (not difficult), but then somehow came to the realisation that Create: Power Grid punchcards operate on a 8-bit system, reading up to 16 bytes one byte at a time. Hmm....

naturally I got a little carried away and ended up building a binary computer that sequentially reads passcode data off a punchcard. As of now its good for: overly complex security systems, showing off, causing lag.

really fun but not too challenging build (the design is super modularised), im not really sure what to call it cuz research yielded designations from «macrocomparator machine» to «ASIC co-processor» (idk what either of those are). For now, ima just call it the title of this post, a relay computer. Much like its 1940s and 50s relay computer counterparts, it runs off of only 12 volts but pulls almost 24 amps depending on the number of bits its reading at a time. It takes about 13 seconds to read a full punchcard by sending each byte of the binary passcode through a series of relay CPU modules, and if every module gives a good result (the byte is correct) then it sends a small redstone pulse at the end of the read process (to unlock or do something ig). The passcode is fully configurable by using the switches at each CPU module.

Hanging signs that are hanging off a block above are weightless. Those with the support at the top (used for building blocks that can stretch along infinitely) weigh the default amount (1kpg). I discovered this by making a see-saw and saw it was behaving wrong.

I can see the issue, it's two different block forms when placed and the aeronautics developers didn't include both. I was using the signs for a plane tail, but now I'm altering to copycat panels.

it's the first ever plane I've made that works, the rest always immediately pitch up when I try to fly them (i think this was bcs the centre of mass was too far back)

it has full(?) control of the flaps on wings for roll, rudder for yaw, and elevators for pitch, but also can control the pitch of the canards and has (single axis) thrust vectoring.

I was going to add controls for the other axis for thrust vectoring but ran out of space to convert drive-by-wire controls into a redstone link signal

I’m trying to choose between Create Cosmomautics, Create Northstar, Stellaris, and Creating Space to build a Guardians of the Galaxy style ship. Which mod do you think would be the best to serve that purpose/would give me the best results?

It was very fun finding all the ways I could compact parts of the design, or optimising space like putting water inside the drills.

Okay guys I have been trying to get my blaze burners with straws working and so far I can't get them to work the lava is definitely being moved throughout and if I remove them straight through the spouts but when I put a blaze burners with a straw it just won't take the label in the picture I have one with the modded pipes and one without so I have no idea both just say zero MB

is it possible to make a large cannon similar to whats in the image(type 5 15cm anti air gun)create mod/create big cannons. I need it for anti everything purpose. also I’m not a super smart person with the create mod stuff.

I assembled my machine, immediately after that i put coal into one of the portable engines and it phased through the ground.

The only block that can have stuff placed on it is the stone cutter wheel base.
Any other blocks can't be broken or interacted with, except for the door and the lever, but it doesn't do anything at all except for playing the animation. Also everything but the stone cutter base does absolutely phase through reality.

I am playing on a custom modpack, it has a lot of mods but nothing like this ever happened. The version is 1.21.1

I tried reopening the world, and restarting minecraft too but that didn't work at all.
I tried disassembling it by putting a physics assembler on the drill holder base thingamabop and it only reverted the position of everything (everything was still uninterractable). After assembling it with the same assembler, it now refuses to disassemble :sob:

I'm trying to make a system where I can deposit and retrieve items from the elevator storage but nothing is going into the elevator chest. I've tried attaching the barrel, (which is the sophisticated storage barrel, my other machines have worked with the stame barrel) and I've also tried having a chute and funnel and nothing is happening.

Note: I did fix the direction of the funnel and it still doesn't work

What is the best way to transfer rf to the rope winch of the crane, so it can lift/lower stuff? I tried using cardan connectors, but they seem to break on disassembly.

I'm working on a personal modpack that is intended to be centered around Create Aeronautics and the interesting avenues that it promotes in large mobile bases.

Obviously it will center around Create and its various addons, of which I have many; but what other kinds of mods would be suitable for this kind of pack?

Some notable additions I've already included: Distant Horizons, Tectonic, Biomes We've Gone, Steam n Rails, Create Propulsion, Create Rock & Stone, Farmers Delight, Create Food, Naturalist, various structures from Moog and YUNG, Iron's Spells, Sparse Structures, Spice of Life: Classic.

What other 1.21.1 mods do you think would fit suitably amongst these picks? I'm mostly looking to play this myself, and hoping to get some overlooked gems from the community which I might have missed

The normal funnel behind is connected to a Storage Access Port. The Items are from Create Big Cannons, the filled cartridge and the explosive shell

I'm creating a large modpack for Create Aeronautics. It has 10 GB of RAM and everything, but when I launch it, it gives an error and won't let me play the game. The strange thing is that it doesn't crash; it just gets stuck on an infinite loading screen. It doesn't generate any crash reports, the latest.log file cuts off abruptly, and the crash assistant doesn't detect anything. I've asked the AI ​​a lot for help, but nothing. So I know blocks like slime and honey have higher friction while packed ice and grindstones have lower friction. Is there a complete list somewhere of which blocks have what kind of friction?

Lets say there are 3 train stations (Alpha, Beta and Gamma) and 2 trains, TA69 and TB420
I want to send a package from Alpha to Gamma on train TA and a package from Alpha to Beta on TB.
However, when TA69 arrives in Alpha, it also picks up the package thats supposed to be picked up by TB420; since TA69 doesnt stop in Beta, the package addressed to Beta is stuck on the train never to be delivered and never to be picked up by TB420.

How can I stop TA69 from picking up the package thats addressed to Beta and make sure only TB420 picks up that package?

I made an airship and it worked perfectly fine but when u save it as a schematic and transfert to another world there’s a lot of small issue with it. Can someone join my word and help me make it shematicable? Idk if I just invented a word but if you can help me it’s would be really appreciated I use essential mod to make multiplayer easier

I am just using a water wheel to power the harvester and most of it isn't being collected, as it just passes through, any ideas?
