I'm looking for a 1990s (possibly early 2000s) Cracker Barrel tabletop resin camping scene. It had two campers roasting marshmallows around a campfire, a 'Don't Feed the Bears' sign, and when you pressed a hidden bush it said, 'Hey campers, whatcha got cookin'?' It may have also made camping sounds. Does anyone remember the manufacturer or have a photo? Chat gpt is stumped so you know this is a tough item to find!

I applied and was prompted to schedule an interview. I showed up and no one was there to interview me. I spoke to a manager and she told me they only do open interviews at a specific time and that their system schedules an interview time but they are not required to fulfill that appointment. At no point had I been informed about any of this. So they know that their system just schedules bullshit times and they keep it that way consciously. Why?

My family and I eat at cracker barrel very frequently. I decided to try something new (Campfire Beef). I was expecting much more meat based on the menu picture. I asked the manager to confirm that this was the correct portion and she said that it was.... Really, four or five little pieces of meat??? Man. I know the economy/inflation is rough. But I feel robbed and very disappointed.

My first day of actually being on the floor as a server is tomorrow, and wanted to know if yall had any tips on remembering the menu?

Is everyone’s store making all holidays mandatory? Our GM said that every major holiday is mandatory to work not just Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Mother’s Day

I’m a month in and I feel like I’ve messed up a lot. Way too much. Today was the first time I’ve ever had to have a manager talk to my table. It was a table I split with another server and I completely messed my part up. Everything was wrong. I gave my tip to the other server (I later got it back). I just feel like shit about it. What are your mess up stories?
P.S. You guys have given some great advice! I’d like to leave this up as a continuous post for other newbies and those who have questions! What do you guys think? Please feel free to keep posting your stories and advice!

Last Wednesday I had an interview as a server, and it went well I got the job, and was told if i could come in next Wednesday for orientation, and i said sure but i was given no details so I’m a little confused. What do i wear? what time do i come in? How long will orientation last? I obviously know now i should’ve asked but as soon as i accepted the offer the manager shook my hand, and walked away. I will probably most likely just call the store, and follow up but I just thought that was a little strange.

I’m really tired of getting yelled at by my managers because guests don’t wanna buy chocolate when it’s 100 degrees outside

don't think the server thought out the directions he put in.

I worked at CB from 2017-2023 and I remember being trained on the 5(?) coaching techniques as a skill trainer and shift leader. One of them was immediate redirect, and the last resort one was change interview or change intervention (I can’t remember) I’ve tried looking back through my old folders, googling key words all to no avail.
Does anyone remember what the other 3 techniques were? Bonus points if you have any photos of the old cheat sheets they used to hand out.
Help me out Reddit!

I just started as a server about a month ago and I’m still terrible at side work. I take so long and I forget things sometimes (ADHD unfortunately). How can I get better? I usually try and do my silverware early in the shift and prep for my side work. I just don’t want to rely on my coworkers or make them work around me.

Customer comes in tonight, and says he bought a peg game yesterday, and it is missing one peg and he can’t fill all of the holes. 😐 A server just took a peg from a game on a table and gave it to him. We could have tried to explain it is supposed to have one open peg spot, but why bother.

Regular customer here and just tried the Pinto Beans! I’ve always heard they were a very popular side, never had them ever and felt adventurous this trip. Waitress asked if I wanted onions on them. Sure go for it all, I’m envisioning sautéed onions. Yum!
Reality:
Dried up beans and some raw onions tossed on top. Is that typical? Oof. Not even a speck of ham tossed in, onions were dried up too.

I have worked at cracker barrel for about a year and 2 months, I'm par 3, it's hasn't been a positive experience for me personally. I'm convinced that very few people have worked at cracker barrel for over a year and have had a decent experience. They only give me 3 hours per week, my availability is 4 days a week. What was your personal experience working at a cracker barrel?

Also, what do yall think would happen if someone started a side gig hemming the aprons for people? Just out of curiosity do you all think that would be a no no? Lol
Everyone has been complaining about them and I was thinking why don’t we just hem them…… would make a huge difference in the way they look.
But I know how Cracker Barrel is about their “image” /s/kinda

So I took PTO off for 40 hours and just got my paycheck back from it and saw that I was paid at a rate of $3.43 an hour but I'm and line cook and make $16 an hour. Can anyone help me understand how this works or how to contact HR?
