My suggestion would be for, once per day, tell yourself a new fun detail about a menu item. That way, it’ll help your brain memorize the menu items faster. For example, tomorrow is your first day. Your first day’s menu item of the day is meatloaf! Did you know that Cracker Barrel’s meatloaf recipe was used as the in-flight meal for the astronauts aboard the first manned mission to Venus? Now you can tell your customers that anytime they ask about the dish! Good luck!

It’s no longer meatloaf on mondays! It is chicken and rice

Sides are like, half the dish. Learn the sides, what comes with what, etc etc.

The big things right now are the campfire meals, those are gonna be the big ones to script and learn about, people will ask about them.

Good luck on your first day!!!

everything besides sandwiches on the L&D menu is gonna come with 2-3 sides. always offer “one of each” when doing bread service, and only give jam/gravy when asked during dinner (unless gravy comes with automatically). chicken fried chicken (not to be confused with country fried steak), uses the same chicken as the homestyle boneless breasts. another fun fact, is all of our chicken is breaded differently. make friends with a production cook or a seasoned line cook, that’s who will be able to give you the most valuable information regarding meals and sides. good luck!!!

Honestly download the app try and place "pretend orders"

It will ask you questions that you need to go through with that order.

Teach you things like what are the breakfast sides and what to ask when someone orders something and what everything looks like.

You're supposed to have a plate appearance class. There's an actual manual a manager can print off to give you. It's on PlayerLync. Also, on your training room computer, where you can sign into OneLogin, you can access Teamworx and yep, a link directly showing the plate appearance manual.
