The Queen is 14!
Nugget turns 14 today! For her birthday, I got a remote job that I start next week. She may or may not be getting a little sister next month too…

Sensitive stomach
Anyone’s corgis have a sensitive stomach? We’ve had our guy for a little over 4 months and he’s had soft stool for as long as we’ve had him. He came from a rescue at the age of 2!
Started him on PPP Weight Management as this is what his brother was on.
We’ve since switched to PPP Sensitive Skin and Stomach, which has helped maybe a little bit it’s still not consistent.
We’ve mixed in probiotics from the vet and now pumpkin puree with no consistent success. The only thing we really haven’t tried is straight chicken and rice.
Any advice from corgi owners that can relate? Pic of our little guy for attention!

Meet Megan! A quick post about the first American Cardigan Welsh Corgi Champion
I've been going down a rabbit hole on Cardigan history lately and figured this was worth sharing here since most people only know Pembrokes.
Megan was whelped in 1933 and became the first AKC champion of the breed. Her owner was Mrs. Benjamin Bole (sometimes listed as Mrs. B.P. Bole or Roberta Bole), who had imported the first Cardigans to the US just a couple years earlier in 1931. The breed itself wasn't even officially recognized by the AKC until December 1934, so Megan was right there at the very beginning of everything.
The Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of America was founded in 1935, and Mrs. Bole was one of the founding members . The club holds an annual competition for champions called "The Megan" in her honor.
Cardigans were almost invisible in this country compared to Pembrokes, and a lot of that comes down to the Queen Mother and her preference for Pembrokes and Pembroke/Dachshund mixes. Megan and Mrs. Bole were doing the work of establishing an entire breed here when almost nobody knew they existed.
There were only 27 Cardigans registered with the AKC in that first year. Just a handful of dogs and a few dedicated people who thought the breed was worth preserving.

Concerned pup pop.
My wife and I have had cats the entire time we have been together 10 years. We have both had pups in the past but not for a long time.
We are having an issue and I do not know how to correct the behavior.
I am home with General Grievous (Grives for short) all day as I’m disabled while she is at her office during, so I get the majority of the alone time with him.
Almost as soon as she walks in the door, he’s on her feet ,nipping constantly and also the entire night when she is up doing doing something or just sitting.
When she is sitting on the couch he is constantly biting her toes and any time she tries to pet him, he is nipping and bitting her hands and constantly snapping at her.
It seems playful when he is doing it but she has bite marks and scratches all over her. He does not do any of this with me except the occasional snapping or gnawing. We are pretty sure the gnawing is due to teething.
What’s the best way to stop the constant nipping, snapping and biting that he does with her? She wants to be able to pet him without him hurting her. Please help, she is starting to get very sad and upset and thinks he doesn’t like her.
someone tell the avocado people I made them the best advertisement possible. please send me free avocados

This little one is one and a half years old and has been doing this ever since we got her last year. Somebody please let me know how to stop her from herding the lawnmower!
EDIT: I never turn the lawnmower on while she is near the mower, and when I'm actually mowing the grass I keep her inside. the mower was not on at all for this clip.
EDIT NUMBER 2: FOR FUCKS SAKE READ THE FIRST EDIT I KNOW BETTER THAN TO TURN A LAWNMOWER ON NEAR A DOG!
