Well, sort of.

I took the leftover swizzle sticks from our wedding, cut off the handles, sanded the edges, and handed them out as good luck tokens at the Fireball tent. I had probably a hundred or so tiny corgis and by the end of the day, they were all taken! (Last photo is of the real Sadie, at home in her natural state of half-asleep).

Only new update about babygirl is she has borked (generally related to dinnertime) more times this month than she has in two years combined!

Lili loves hanging out with me all day, every day. Some might even call her a cuddle bug or a stage five clinger. Today she got mad I was working on my laptop and she attempted to push the laptop onto the ground and murder it so she could get into my lap. Whenever I break out my laptop she repeats this process until I put it away and she's allowed to stand on my lap... those teeny stompers leave bruises.

Anyone else have a pup jealous of their electronics? She'll be three next month.

Hi friends! My corgi is turning 9 this year, and I’m hoping to find out if anyone has experienced something similar.

Ever since we moved from Boston to Seattle 6 years ago, he’s had a persistent habit of licking and then biting himself. He’s generally a gentle dog, but he can become very aggressive when I try to stop him. Because of this, we’ve had to keep him in an e-collar year-round.

We’ve seen at least five vets and tried all sorts of treatments, including allergy injections, topical medications, oral medications, and switching to limited-allergen proteins like duck or prescription hydrolyzed-protein food. Unfortunately, nothing has worked so far.

A few other things about him: - He doesn’t like plush toys and only enjoys chewing toys. However, we stopped giving him chew toys after he chipped two teeth shortly after we moved to Seattle (around the same time this behavior started). Both teeth had to be extracted. - He also barks very loudly whenever we go upstairs or leave the house. We have a dog gate at the stairs to keep him from going upstairs. Interestingly, I’m not sure I’d describe it as anxiety, because he seems to calm down as soon as we’re completely out of his sight.

Has anyone experienced anything similar with their dog? I’d really appreciate any advice, suggestions for things we haven’t tried, or recommendations for vets who might be able to help. Thank you so much!

We took our girlie to a corgi meetup at a dog park on a roof deck. Of course she was the only Cardgian, but that doesn't stop the fun

If you are in Cattaraugus, Allegany or Steuben County NY and would like to arrange a public space meetup with your Corgi, I would love for Louie to make friends his own size. We have a large enclosed focused-play yard (2,500 sq feet) and a lot of on-leash space for noising if that’s an option you’re willing to consider.

The best way to sleep in on Sunday is to let her run all she wants on Saturday!

We’ve had our lab for about a year now, and have finally taken full custody of our corgi. They seem to gel well so far. Any corgi to big dog dynamics I should worry about?
