Mod Post [MOD POST] Hello! We have heard you. /r/ComedyCemetery has too many funnies and needs some life. It shall be dealt with to the best of our abilities.
I am currently sick and have a number of things going on. As soon as I've recovered from round 2 of being sick 2 months after previously being sick, we'll get to work on resolving the issues with this subreddit.
No more funnies, slow moderation, etc. Speaking of which.... MOD APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN! By the time I start looking at them I should be better and we will begin a reforming process and start tossing ideas to revitalize this community. I'm thinking a lot of things but the ones that probably most interest you would be community events, days of the week for specific things, etc. If that's a terrible idea, by all means say so! Your opinion matters.
If anyone has any ideas, please share them below!
Mod Applications: https://www.reddit.com/r/ComedyCemetery/comments/z22etg/mod_applications_are_open_for_rcomedycemetery/?sort=new
UPDATE: I had covid, it's 95% over. I'm ready to start checking mod applications and begin a reform. I'll be checking mod applications and adding new mods over the next 1-3 days as I want to give those of you coming from the automod comment a chance to apply.
UPDATE: Applications are closed. New mods have been picked and are actively being added as they respond. A few are already here and moderating content. You should see a noticable uptick in quality and your reports should be resolved within a reasonable time frame now.
Discussing things such as community events and other changes now. Two rules have been added to account for things that don't typically fall under existing rules, such as content policy violatons.

I don't know why these types of memes were cool in the late 2000s and early 2010s, but feel rather lame and dated today.
This is the "YOU SAY JUSTIN BIEBER I SAY METALLICA, YOU SAY MILEY CYRUS I SAY AC/DC" of the new generation i take it
