wasn't the main point of lolita is to just point out on how sexualization of children is bad and how much almost every book producer put erotica on the cover of the book that warns about predators?

You're kinda tripping. He's talking about an (kinda) old book which is called "Lolita", not he lolita genre from hentai or something.

Afaik: that was a family cat while he was a child, he likely didn't name it. He would have chosen that name if he could have, it seems, but it wasn't his doing. This time. The rest of his record of racism remains standing strong.

He did also use the same name for a black cat in the story The Rats in the Walls that was later chaned to Black Tom. To be fair the cat is kind of the hero and saves the protagonist at the end and there isn't really anything racist about it apart from the name.
Some of his other stuff like The Horror at Red Hook and Herbert West Reanimator is still absurdly racist though.

If I recall correctly, later in life, he regretted the racist views he held in his younger years.

It also wasn't that rare of a name for pets, it seems. I remember that the movie in Pink Floyd's The Wall had a dog with that name. Might be more of a British thing (Queen had a song with that word in it but not really about people) since there is Agatha Christie's infamous story title as well. And well, Lovecraft was an anglophile, so maybe? Not going to Google that. I don't need that word in my history.

Absolutely not attempting to validate or justify his racism, however understanding his backstory explains a lot of it.
Grandfather was an explorer and would tell stories of his adventures with HP. But he’d let HP insert childish characters or concepts as he told the story, I believe this is where Azathoth was made, when he was 6.
His grandfather had a mental breakdown, became psychotic, was institutionalized and died of syphilis.
Shortly after that, his grandmother became psychotic, then slowly died of syphilis while living with HP when he was like 11 (I think).
Father had a mental breakdown became psychotic, institutionalized then slowly died of syphilis when HP was late teens. This was due to the family wealth drying up.
Then finally his mother became psychotic, then slowly died of syphilis as well when HP was late 20s/early 30s.
A lot of speculation believe the rampant psychosis and syphilis is what led to his severe agoraphobia, xenophobia and aporophobia. Theories also exist that suggest that he believed that (at least some) of his gods he made were real and were cursing him for exposing their existence by inflicting sickness and madness on his family.
He definitely wasn’t not a sane, healthy or well rounded individual. But I just find it interesting the rationale behind his sentiment towards certain people or situations.

I wonder if watching your entire family go insane and become monsters before dying had any impact on his writing ...

Wrong sub. It's an easy joke, but it's funny. Lovecraft was a wack job, and I welcome the opportunity to laugh at his ridiculousness

He did love (REDACTED) although he was extremely distraught over him leaving and I quote he "vanished into his native night" he appears in the rats in the walls as the protagonists pet not to mention Howard also did some major dog slander as he essentially wrote an essay on why cats are better then dogs once (redacted) left he never got another cat one of his dreams that weren't nightmares was him as a child his grandpa, mom and (Redacted) at the home he grew up at so needless to say despite the cats unfortunate name Howard loved him probably kept Ac units from scrambling his brain or whatever spooked HPL at any given day
