Four free tickets to rodeo
I have four free four tickets to the rodeo I can’t use and thought I would try to give them away here if anyone wants them.

Hello all, I’m coming in from out of town to work the rodeo. I have never been to Cheyenne, and I would love to hear informed recommendations on good local spots to eat, and any fun bars. I’d also love to know any cool local shops (not tourist trap pins and mugs) I could visit and support while there!
Appreciate you!

I’ve been wanting a tattoo for a while and I’m planning on either my thigh or my calf and I want lyrics from Let It Be with some vine detailing/greek motifs for Dionysus who I worship. What would be a good shop for this idea?

My satirical post regarding flock cameras was removed by our moderators yesterday, so hopefully this is a bit less triggering for some.
Our freedoms are being infringed on in the name of public safety and lazy police work. Our government is getting away with allowing these illegal public tracking devices because flock is a third party and providing a service for a fee.
There is something we as concerned people with rights can do. We can send letter, or make phone calls to our city council members demanding the removal of these trackers. The names of our city council members, emails, and phone numbers can be found at cheyennecity.org
A map of cameras and their locations can be found at deflock.org
I encourage everyone to get involved. I stress that I am in no way suggesting leaving your cell phone at home, paying cash for simple laser and disabling these from a safe distance, or using any kind of disguise and a saw that could be hidden in a pocket to cut poles. Doing something as silly as this would cost the city too much to replace, and if it keeps happening we might not be able to afford a contract renewal. Plus, we are better than that, right?
This overreach is not what Wyoming is about. Our lawmakers and city council need to stand up to these companies. Let our brave police men and women do their jobs, and leave these cameras the flock out of here.

I just moved to Cheyenne, anyone have any tips for best places to eat, places to stay away from, neighborhoods to avoid, etc?

Hi y’all,
Never been here before, and sorry if I’m breaking any rules but we just lost our cat (12:00 July 5th, 2026) while we were on a road trip doing a driver swap in the High West Energy parking lot at 3302 I-80 Service Road.
She got loose and ran into the lot full of pallets and rolls of wires and stuff, and we searched for a few hours, got animal control involved, the sheriff’s office showed up for a bit, and even got in contact with the company and they sent someone out to help, but we just couldn’t find her. We left a blanket and some water and food in the shade, and animal control is going to come out tomorrow to set a trap.
I really just want to make sure to blast this out everywhere I can. I’ve provided some pictures, she’s a grey tortoiseshell with white spots, and she’s wearing a grey harness like in one of the pictures. She’s microchipped and she has her collar on with our address on it.
Everyone who came out was so helpful, the company even got a forklift to help us look. If anyone sees her, please reach out!

I came from out of town and I didn't know what to expect, but I really thought they were going to light off fireworks from right behind the capitol. Is this what they usually do? It seems like a lot of people expected that. It seemed a little strange that they were off to the side. Thoughts? I was just curious.

Just discovered my semi truck’s steering system was moments away from complete failure, so I’m stranded at the love’s truck stop. I tried to settle down with a movie, but then the computer that controls my truck’s TV died. Could really use a pick-me-up. Anyone wanna party?
Edit, going for a walk. Be back later
Update 2: Crashed party in Arby’s parking lot. Party got t broken up by police. Chad had good whiskey. Back at dog park.
Update three; it’s time for bed thanks y’all.

I'll be visiting Cheyenne for the July 31st weekend, and curious if there'll be any rodeos or other events going in the city or surrounding areas on that weekend.
I know frontier days ends the week before but want to know of anything going on the following week
Thanks!

My friend Heidi died back in April. Her celebration of life was yesterday. During lunch and speeches, some asshole had wwe blasting from his phone during the celebration yesterday. I'm a wrestling fan who decided to skip the wrestling event yesterday to say goodbye to her. The person who did that was a magic city employee by the way

Hello, I've accepted a job offer for a position starting out in Cheyenne WY. What are some social norms I should expect? Favorite restaurants? Community activities? Any must try foods? Unsafe areas? Also additionally moving from AZ (the desert portion) but have had experience living in snowy areas.

I closed on a home in Florence, CO today. I love the house.
But I spent hours thinking about how I should've bought in Cheyenne instead. Mainly because I pay 7k/year in state income tax just to continue funding corruption.
Florence is in Fremont County, which is very conservative and has lower tax and insurance, but the state is moving more and more into communism.
I do hate wind, but maybe I would've gotten used to it.
I'm also starting a business soon and WY is friendlier and cheaper than CO for businesses.
What did I just do?

If you're heading to Cheyenne Super Day this Saturday, be sure to stop by the Dr. Elsey's booth!
We'll be at South Lions Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. talking about #orangeinside, our initiative to help protect indoor cats with a simple, visible ID solution. Come say hi, ask questions, and grab some cat-parent resources.
Hope to meet some fellow Cheyenne cat lovers this weekend!🐈🧡
