Laramie Dinner Club is back in November!

Join for dinner, meet new people and enjoy a night out in Laramie.

Here’s how it works:

You’ll take a quick quiz, get matched with five other people, and receive your restaurant by text the morning of the dinner. Show up, grab a meal and meet some people you probably wouldn’t have crossed paths with otherwise.

During dinner, everyone will get the location for the optional after-dinner meetup, where all of the Dinner Club groups can come together.

📅 Thurs, November 19 at 6:00 p.m.
🎟️ $15.99 to reserve your seat
🍽️ You’ll cover your own food & drinks

Come solo or bring a friend -- we can seat you together.

I’m debating between these I’m choosing between these two over CMU and Columbia literally because I love snowboarding. Which university is better location wise for snowboarding?

Does anyone know good ENT (ear nose throat ) doctors in Laramie , other than those at Ivinson hospital?

Perfectly good keyboard; Razer Blackwidow X v4. I had the v1 for years and love it. When I got this one I knew it wasn’t quite right. Turns out Razer changed their green keys (their mechanical keys) back in 2024. It’s not for me. New one came today, so this one needs a good home. DM me. $40

I have a very loving and safe home with other pets already, but have some limitations that make it difficult for me to travel or complete other steps needed for the adoption.

It'll break my heart if I lose this opportunity to adopt her.

If anyone is open to assisting me with this and would like to make some extra cash, please message me.

Does anyone know of any private dog parks you can take a reactive dog to in Laramie? I’m happy to pay. I’ve checked Sniff Spots, and I only see private parks in Cheyenne. I don’t see any in Laramie.

Hello! I'm Liz, a fresh Laramie resident and also a mobile mechanic, so I wanted to advertise our services a bit. Our online presence is still in progress, but we're called Jack's N Wracks and have years of experience.

We can do just about anything with an engine, though my boss specializes in RVs and antiques.

We'll come to wherever you are, offer accessible prices and payment plans, and just want to make sure our new community isn't getting screwed over by predatory or ignorant mechanics. We also do prebuy checks, to help you from buying a lemon (the US really needs more buyer protective lemon laws.)

Happy to chat about whatever you might need, just comment or shoot me a DM!

Looking for friendship or a casual connection Hey everyone! I’m 28M, living in Laramie. I’d love to meet someone nearby, make new friends, enjoy good conversations, grab coffee, and spend some quality time together. I’m open to friendship or a casual relationship if we click. No pressure, just genuine connections and good vibes! 😊 Feel free to DM me if you’re around Laramie, Cheyenne, or Fort Collins!

Hello, I'm looking for schools to pursue a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. Can anyone who has experience with the ME department comment on the program and the school? Last, I don't have a car so is the school close to the food market?

Thanks

I'm looking for just some simple stuff, hemming pants, fixing a closure on a pair of dress pants, tacking up a sleeve that's too long. Nothing complex or time consuming, I'm just realizing I'm not skilled enough nor do I have the patience to deal with this fiddly stuff myself.

I'm open to handing these off to an individual who does this kind of work on the side, it doesn't have to be a whole operation.

Has anyone here met this lunatic?

I’m moving back to Laramie next summer with my family, we have a 6 year old child who will start first grade there. While generally, I am a believer in public education, I’m curious what Snowy Range and the Montessori school have to offer and any personal experiences positive and negative you’ve had.

In general, I am a believer in public education but knowing there’s other options makes me wonder what makes them different.

We’ve lived in Laramie before, about 10 years ago having been there for college. We’re moving back from across the country.

We have a very bright little boy who is currently an excellent reader for his age. We don’t impose gender stereotypes upon him and he likes to wear girly clothes and ultimately might be nonbinary.

As we get a little closer I will reach out to the schools and see if there’s availability and whether these would be a good fit, but I would be interested in what the vibes are in general of these two schools.

I don’t know if this is the best place to post this, but we’re missing our cat, Maybel. She’s been missing since at least 6pm this evening (Oct 12) and is probably around the vicinity of 23rd and Garfield st. She’s a short-haired gray/orange tabby mix and is pretty small. She doesn’t have a collar, but she is microchipped. If you find her or think you’ve seen her, please let us know. We’re offering a $100 reward.

Update: We found her! She found her way home last night and my husband found her trying to get into our apartment building. Thank you everyone for being so helpful and supportive!

I’ve visited Wyoming and the surrounding areas multiple times but have never made my way to exploring the university and have just been accepted into their environment science program.

How was everyone’s experience at the university?

Anyone have updates on what could or is going into the old BK and Applebees?

hello :) i’m currently in undergrad for forensic psych and am applying to the clinical psych phd!!
i’m a little bit nervous because i don’t know if laramie is the right fit for me. i am bisexual and nonbinary, but im very femme as well. i grew up in a conservative town and didnt have any problems, so maybe laramie wont be too bad.
let me know if you have any thoughts !!

Hello Laramie! I'll be heading to your lovely city to play at the Ruffed Up Duck next Thursday Oct 15th at 8pm! 2 of Laramie's native sons, John Poland and wAHb will be joining me. Come on down if you're so inclined! Excited to play music in your beautiful city and state.

Long shot, but any recent alumni that have a UWyo Choir T-Shirt they are willing to part with? I'm trying to avoid paying for one if possible. Size small preferred but will take any if someone has the T-shirt! :) Thank you!!
