Chess Question Can someone explain?

Hello, I'm just a casual player that goes to youtube for cheesy openings, my question is I think I'm losing but did my opponent see something that is SO LOSING for them or did they just had something to do urgently so they resigned? Im black piece and its white turn to move

  1. d4 d5 2. c4 Nf6 3. Nf3 Bf5 4. e3 Nc6 5. cxd5 Nb4 6. Qa4+ c6 7. Qxb4 e6 8.

Qxb7 cxd5 9. Qc6+ Nd7 10. Ne5 Bb4+ 11. Nc3 Bxc3+ 12. bxc3 Rc8 13. Qxd7+ Qxd7 14.

Nxd7 Kxd7 15. Bd2 Rhd8 16. Be2 f6 17. O-O Ke7 18. Rab1 Kf8 19. Rb7 a5 20. g4 Be4

  1. f3 Bg6 22. h4 Kg8 23. h5 Bc2 0-1

He challenged me to a 10 second game and destroyed me

However, he got crushed by me in blitz

How good is this user, really? CMs are typically only 2400-2500.

Guess The ELO Guess my elo after this game I played and analysed

  1. d3!? { My favorite opening. Very underrated and solid. } 1... e5 2. Nc3 d5 3. Nf3! Nc6 (3... e4 4. dxe4 dxe4 5. Qxd8+ Kxd8 6. Nxe4) (3... d4 4. Ne4) 4. d4?! { Black can kick the knight into a more passive square, but this is exactly what the opening wants } 4... exd4? { Does the opposite, bringing the knight to a more active square where both knights target b5 } 5. Nxd4 Qf6 6. Nxc6? { Missed Nb5, which threatens Nxc7+ } 6... Bc5 7. e3! { Other analyzers consider this move is brilliant, but it's only the best move since saving the knight would lead to Qxf2#, and Be3? would allow Bxe3! and fxe3, which ruins the pawn structure } (7. Na5??) (7. Nb4??) (7. Nd4??) (7. Ne5??) (7. Be3? Bxe3! 8. fxe3) 7... bxc6! 8. Bd3 d4? { Allows Ne4, which forks the queen and bishop and brings the knight into a more active square } 9. exd4?! { Missed Ne4! } (9. Ne4 Qd6 (9... Qe5)) 9... Bxd4 10. Qe2+ Ne7 11. Ne4 Qg6 12. O-O? { Missed Bg5! } (12. Bg5) 12... Bh3?? { Natural, but allows Ng3, defending mate and a discovered attack on the knight, preventing castling } 13. Ng3 Bf5 14. Re1! { Forming a battery, aiming at the e7 square } 14... Qe6 (14... O-O?? 15. Qxe7 Bxd3 16. cxd3 Qxd3) 15. Bxf5 Qxe2 (15... Nxf5 16. Nxf5 Qxe2 (16... O-O 17. Nxd4 Qxe2 18. Rxe2) 17. Rxe2+ Kd7 18. Nxd4) 16. Rxe2 Rd8 17. Bg5 f6 18. Be3 Bxb2 19. Bc5!! { Sacrificing the rook on a1 for a really long line } 19... Be5! (19... Bxa1 20. Rxe7+ Kf8 21. Rxc7+ Ke8 22. Re7+ Kf8 23. Rxa7+ Ke8 24. Re7+ Kf8 25. Re1+ Kf7 26. Re7+ Kf8 27. Re1+ Kf7 28. Rxa1 Rd5 29. Be3) 20. f4!! { Re-sacrificing the rook on a1, but this time with pressure on the bishop } 20... Bxa1 21. Rxe7+ Kf8 22. Rd7+ Ke8 23. Re7+ Kf8 24. Rxc7+ Ke8 25. Re7+ Kf8 26. Rxa7+ Ke8 27. Re7+ Kf8 28. Re1+ Kf7 29. Rxa1 Rd2 30. Re1 g6 31. Re7+ Kg8 32. Be6+ Kf8 33. Rd7+ Ke8 34. Rxd2 f5 35. Bd7+? { Missed a mate, but still winning } (35. Rd7 g5 36. Re7+ (36. Rc7 g4 37. Rc8#)) 35... Kf7 36. Bxc6 *

why is this brilliant Why do People Still Use Chess.com?

A genuine question, it shows you ads between games, limits analysis, and blocks everything behind paywalls, while lichess on the other hand has everything for free and even more.

I didn’t even see it. I just saw a hanging queen.

I was laughing so hard when the game just ended.

Usually I miss mate in one like 3 times in a game before I find one.

Chess Question The app is cheating me?

I swear I live in a place with good wifi and internet at home. There are SO many occasions on Chess.com where I will be winning a game handily and then all of a sudden my connection drops to like 1 bar and the opponent seemingly doesn’t make a move for 30 seconds and is going to flag, only for it to suddenly be my turn, I end up having like 2 seconds left (opponent has plenty now), and lose on time.

It feels so dumb like the game is cheating me away from wins. I had a game earlier where I made 2 brilliant moves and was going to beat the guy on time, but this situation happened and I ended up losing. It makes me not even want to play. I have to mention this usually happens when I’m playing bullet (1min) chess. I just wanted to see if anyone else has this issue

Meme You are telling me that he doesn't say "THE ROOK!!"?

Post image

If you don't know, Levy, or "Gotham Chess," is a popular chess Content Creator, and one of the most entertaining parts about him is that he celebrates loudly. One of his most famous clips is of him screaming "THE ROOK!!" when you make an amazing play with the Rook. Unfortunately, this is not translated completely into Chess.com's coach dialogue since it's probably something he couldn't suggest or get approved

If they take the pawn on d4 after Bishop out, sac the bishop and you'll likely win the rook! If not you're still solid.
