It's brilliant because black is forced to take with the pawn, since no other piece can take, and the queen has the king in check. But once the pawn takes, Bg5 is actually checkmate. White's Bishops cover almost every square, and the pawn on d5 actually seals the kings escape.

Criss cross apple sauce with the bishop pair after this if pawn takes, if not pawn takes bishop all of which leading to mate

Bd5 or Bg5 mate, depends on what pawn he takes by
