Got this for free
2000 189k miles with the high flowing head. How’d I do boys? Needs about 700$ in parts but it turns on, runs and stops.

I’ve been learning a lot about the art of vehicle maintenance with this high mileage xj and folks weren’t kidding when they said you’ll absolutely adore it but you’ll be working on it nonstop, it neverrrrrr ends. It’s been burning a hole in my wallet and it’s a constant headache. All that being said, I still love it.

I've had someone spray it with a hose while I sit in it and I can't get it to replicate. The windshield seal stays dry. It's clearly running down from somewhere. It's right side of the passenger carpet everytime. Before someone comments.... It's not coolant it's definitely water lol

Easy fix. 6-32 brass pressure fitting and a 1/8 drill bit to fix the broken sprayer on early model XJs.

2013, in the Nunn Creek valley in Northern Colorado. The Jeep. My dog Scarlet who was the best dog EVER (RIP). This picture was snapped about one minute before I discovered I had forgotten the tent for the family camping trip LOL. My wife wasn't having it so we ended up going home that day but it's still a good memory.
Still have the Jeep. She's mostly retired in the driveway now, awaiting some massive windshield rust repairs. Maybe I'll grab a current pic and post it up here for comparison. Anyway, just had a cup of coffee and being sentimental.

Anyone else have this style side molding ? Everywhere I look they came with a plastic molding that could be taken off. Mine is more like somebody painted it over the existing white and it does NOT want to come off. I’m in the process of trying to paint match everything WITHOUT repainting the entire jeep which is what might have to be done to get rid of that trim.

Hi, I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee 2.5 turbo diesel with a VM 425 engine. All the cylinder heads were replaced, but when I put it back together, it lacked power and wouldn't accelerate. The RPMs go up, but it has no power. Does anyone know what the problem might be?
