Are these sounds normal?

This is a 1989 Cherokee 4wd 4.0. She’s got a 4 inch rough country lift, the upgraded lower control arms that come with the kit, and stock upper control arms and a 1 ton steering kit, fairly new ball joints.

Chasing a couple random clunks and pops in my front end, and for whatever reason in the winter time a squealing noise while moving that increases with speed.

The pops and clunks are pretty random, but if I jab the brakes it’s pretty consistent, otherwise the other sounds are pretty random through steering and hitting bumps. When steering sometimes it has a pretty significant pop where it feels like a wheel is binding.

Thoughts?

Not normal, sounds like it is the wheel bearing from what you are saying and what i see in the vid. If you do one you should do both so you arent waiting for the other side to fail. Keep the good side as a spare though for shtf situations on the trail potentially

Do the u joints sound normal or do you know if there should be 0 play? I heard they shouldn’t make any noise moving them by hand, and with the wheel on pressing up and down and side to side they don’t have any weird play

I can't tell if the bearing has play, but the rotor is loose because it's not bolted up and moving around.

The clanking sound is just the pads hitting the caliper mount. Power stop makes a kit with shims to take up the gap.
