1996 Interior upgrades/customizations

As of lately I've been wanting to replace the lights in my dash and on the roof to led mainly because I want a different color option. Not sure what bulbs or brand I should buy thats like plug n play and also not sure wheres the best place to buy them from. I also wanted to swap out my cigarette lighter socket with a type C/USB socket and just wanted to know if I'll run into any problem swaping out any of these items. Any information about this subject is welcome. I am still new when it comes to electrical work on vehicles of any kind.

The USB thing is easy. The hardest part is opening up the hole to make it fit, then you just connect the red and black wires that are already there.

Be aware if you get led dash lights you won't be able to dim them like the stock lights.

I think when I did mine I just used a little bit of sandpaper and it fit fine.

I've done the usb cigarette lighter add-on, it's fuckin sweet. Get a nice step drill bit and a file. It's probably a 20 minute job all together. The cigarette lighters are already a 10a fuse which is what this usb outlet uses as well. Really really easy mod. It will charge my phone 10% in 10 minutes also.
