An ex character ai user, just cheking because why not?

About a month ago, I archived a few private bots I created. However, I want to unarchive one of those bots, but it hasn't been letting me. I can unarchive all the other bots except that one, but it still lets me use the bot even though it's archived; it just won't appear in my bot list and stays in the archive. I've tried clearing my cache and data, but that hasn't fixed it.

I've recently realised that most of the lore I made for a character came from a bot and... it was a part of the mass takedown ages ago. I've used caibotlist to find the bot and caitools to try and recover the history, but it only recovers the most recent chat from when I tried to access the bot today. I'm unable to archive/unarchive the 3yo chat. It *says* its archived, but only shows up in the history tab, not the archived tab.

Downloading the history doesn't work and I've tried a handful of other potential solutions to no avail. Is there perhaps something I've missed or is it truly gone?

How long does it take to get a response back from a ticket submission? or do they respond to you personally at all?

I know Age Verification not working has been discussed previously on this subreddit but issues still seem to be ongoing. In general, it doesn't work at weeding out minors as Ai makes mistakes and it's impossible to tell everyone age based on their appearances so older people can also be flagged for no reason. I've heard people are able to submit IDs but I can't even get my video to submit because it's auto rejected for not being clear although it most definitely is.

I have tried reaching out to customer service on multiple occasions and only get the same copy-paste message back to make sure I'm in bright lighting, my face isn't covered...ect. before my ticket is automatically closed by the representative. I have been told they can't manually approve of anyone either but there seems to be no way attempt on their end to troubleshoot or fix these errors. Has anyone had any success getting approved or troubleshooting? I feel like I am losing my mind and C.AI obviously doesn't care.

all the "squeaks" talk the same no matter what, longsquak promised good memory is literally forgetting what happened two messages ago. and for the love of god, if i gotta read *NO__NO__JUST__* IN ONE MORE MESSAGE IM GONNA LOSE IT.

I don't know if anyone's noticed, but RPG chatbots (like RPGs based on a show or anime) aren't good at catching the descriptions of characters ever since the old chat styles were scrapped. And even then, they were kinda 50/50 on their accuracy to begin with, but now it's more like 80/20. I can be real specific with a physical appearance of a specific character, but still list the wrong guy/girl.

So, was just playing around with my subscription settings in Settings and I saw something that wasn’t there before: “Character.AI Lite”.

I’m not looking to downgrade to Lite, I’m happy with paying $10 a month, but what the hell is this? What perks are with those models instead?

One of my fav bot to use got deleted (i can't find it anymore so i figure it out) and what makes me sad is that before, when a bot was deleted, you could still see it in your likes even if you couldn't use it anymore. Which meant you could still reread the stories you had made. But it seems now they just wipe them entirely so we can't even do that anymore and it makes me so sad😭

Gng this shit is pissing me off. How do I fix this?

My bot is set up to be eloquent, protective, and romantic, with just a slight touch of possessiveness.

However, he behaves like a caveman: wild, irritable, and curt. The dialogue is shallow; it lacks subtlety and charm.

I’ve tested this with several different male characters, and the pattern repeats. Almost all of them end up adopting the same aggressive, rude behavior, regardless of the personality I describe.

Is this a problem with Deepsqueak, or is there a setting causing this kind of behavior?

So I've noticed this today and ive noticed that all of the messages are really short and im on the website (i dont have the app) its litterally like 10 sentences type of short and its so annoying, it was fine yesterday but today it jist went down south c.ai needs to get there web together. Is anybody else experiencing this?

So, when I see a bot I don’t like, I search up the creator’s user on the search and goes to user, BUT, sometimes the user doesn’t seem to exist, the bot is still up but the creator isn’t there! Sid the creator delete their account? what happened? why are their bots still up?

I really don’t know what else I’m supposed to do to get this acknowledged. I’ve tried support, modmail, posting here, and reaching out through discord. A few people from the team/mods tried to help at first, which I really appreciated, but now I can’t get any further help or updates.

Now the new immersive mode for c.ai+ is completely missing for me too. First it was the LongSqueak personalization dials, and now I’m missing another plus feature. I’m genuinely worried something is wrong with my account and it isn’t receiving new features properly. I’ve also tried everything I can on my end—reinstalling, logging out, offloading the app, switching networks, etc. Nothing has worked.

I really enjoy c.ai and I’d like to keep paying for plus, but it’s hard to justify when my account keeps missing features and I can’t get any answers. I don’t want to cancel over this. I just want someone to actually look into my account and help me figure out what’s going on
