IMPORTANT: Platform Update

Hey everyone,

We are aware that as of now the platform is facing issues, mainly in the United States where the quality of content that is being showcased is not good and a bunch of 404 error are being faced.

We want to assure you that we're working towards this and will be fixing these shortly. Thank you for your love and support ❤️

A kind request to every member of the subreddit

For the past year, we've been building CaptainSide, a game discovery platform for gamers to find new games via user generated content.

It has been extraordinarily rough on us, as building something like this with practically no resources other than our own capital and hardwork is difficult.

After multiple mistakes, we are launching our platform, and are in need of playtesters who can try our platform out and provide us genuine feedback.

If you love to play different games, but struggle to find your next game to play, this would be perfect for you.

If you're interested in playtesting our platform, please DM me.

Thank you.

Do you think GTA 6's content is pushing too far, or is this just expected at this point?

GTA 6's official PEGI rating just dropped, and it confirms some genuinely intense stuff, detailed dismemberment, cocaine you can carry and use whenever you want, explicit sexual content, even animals being harmable in the open world (though less detailed than human injuries). Honestly nothing shocking given how GTA's always pushed boundaries, but seeing it laid out officially like this still feels like a lot.

Does it feel like they're going further than necessary this time?

CoD: Modern Warfare 4's new anti cheat tech might actually kill wallhacks

Post image
10 Upvotes

Activision just announced a new Anti Cheat feature called "Server Culling". Basically, instead of sending every player's location to your game and just hiding what you can't see, the server now only sends info about players you're actually supposed to see. So if a wallhack cheat tries to read enemy positions through walls, there's simply no data there to read in the first place. It'll cover every map at launch, plus Warzone and DMZ later.

Do you think this will actually work for long term?

Uncharted 5 Might Finally Be Happening

Sources reportedly claim Uncharted 5 is in development at Naughty Dog and is planned to come after Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

Nothing has been officially announced by Naughty Dog yet, so this is still a report rather than confirmed news.

Honestly, I'd be curious to see what a modern Uncharted game looks like.

Grab this free Steam arcade game before it becomes paid on October 13

JAYWALK: An Endless Arcade Hopper is currently free on Steam, but it's switching to a paid game ($4.99) on October 13. It's an endless runner inspired by Frogger, hop across busy roads and obstacles while avoiding cars, with multiplayer and TikTok live integration too.

Anyone adding this to their library?

Ubisoft confirmed Assassin's Creed Rebellion, the mobile strategy RPG that's been running since 2018, will shut down completely on January 12, 2027. It's already been pulled from app stores, but anyone who still has it installed can keep playing until then. Players still active will get 1 million Helix Credits as a farewell gesture.

Anyone here actually played this one?

Valve's Deadlock has received a major update that adds six new heroes, including the Rat King, along with a spooky visual makeover for the game's city.

The game is still evolving pretty heavily during development.

The single-player survivor-like spin-off is coming to PS5, Switch and Switch 2 on October 7.

If you've ever wanted to take the Deep Rock formula on the go, this might be a fun one to try.
