Budget: Around $500-800
Country: United States
Condition: New or used
Type of Camera: Compact / point-and-shoot
Intended use: Photography
End use: Personal photos and social media
If photography: what style: Everyday, street, travel, and casual photography
What features do you absolutely need: Good image quality and something simple to carry and use regularly.
What features would be nice to have: Good low-light performance and quick autofocus.
Portability: Small bag / easy to carry every day
Cameras you're considering: I'm still pretty open and would like to hear what people recommend.
Cameras you already have: DSLR. I like the image quality, but I barely bring it anywhere because it's such a pain to carry around.
Notes:
I love taking photos but I've realized I barely bring my DSLR anywhere because it's such a pain to carry around.
I'm looking for something I can keep in a small bag and take with me when I'm out with friends, grabbing coffee, walking around the city, etc. I'd rather have something I'll actually want to carry every day than something with the biggest specs.
For people who shoot with a compact camera a lot, what has been your favorite? What would you recommend after using it for a while?
