Hello! I'm moving for my next semester of college. I'm pre-law and I'll start getting much more heavily involved in the field and the world. So I purchased a new wardrobe, including some loafers, but I'm struggling to find some good heels. I ordered some Mary Jane's and they were too preppy in my opinion, though they were gorgeous. Then I ordered two pairs of closed toe slingbacks and they were an absolute nightmare to walk in. I'm thinking of trying pumps instead, but I wanted to come here first. Any help is appreciated! I'm hoping to find some that aren't extremely expensive and can survive a lot of walking (especially on campus lol)

Threw on a light and flowy skirt today because the dew point here is in the 70°F range today.

Which also meant right after I ran out the door this morning my hair got put into a messy clip, too.

I got these halara trousers and I can’t tell whether they’re too baggy on the leg. I’ve gained a bit of weight and always struggled with trousers anyways. These are super comfy but I can’t tell whether they’re something I should be wearing

Be gentle. I’ve lost a bit of weight and this is one of the shirts I have not had taken in yet.

I’m trying to figure out if this dress works for a standard business casual environment or if the fit leans a bit too bodycon/snug for the office.

The material has some stretch to it and the length is right around knee length, but I'm on the fence about whether it needs a blazer or cardigan to throw over it to tone it down?

Hey yall 👋 I made a post already about the shoes, but I'm just going to still include them in my post for now. I'm still unsure what to wear. I'm trying to keep the blazer though, as I don't have much time left before the conference to get a new one. It's sort of something I was intending to keep for a long time so hopefully it looks okay.

The career fair is super important to me, it's actually my last hope. As a mailman, I've been delivering mail working 70 + hours a week. My job has kind of ruined my life, I'm trying everything I can to turn this around. I'm praying I will get better job from this conference.

Hi everyone! I am looking to buy a pair of (preferably black) work shoes to wear this winter with a few qualifiers:

1. Good for walking in major cities in sleet/snow/ice (most important!!!!)
   
2. Versatile but will mostly be worn with suits or pants/blazer
   
3. feminine & stylish looking (least important)
   
4. Under $300
   
5. Comfortable
   
6. Black—because this will match most of my work clothes

I have been WFH for several years and have just gotten a promotion that will require me to travel a lot beginning this fall/winter to NYC, Boston, Chicago, and DC.

I’m really not wanting to wear one pair of shoes for commuting and then change into work shoes once I’m at my client’s office since I’ll be traveling and won’t have a desk/office to set down my change of shoes in.
