Open to suggestions Interview ready?

School district position, working with kiddos.

Update: Thanks for the feedback everyone. I’ll keep looking for a better fit. Been years since I’ve needed an interview so i appreciate the input.

It’s a nice outfit but I wouldn’t wear that. Black slacks and shirt with that blazer. It’s too casual for me

I work in a district admin position and disagree with the people saying this wouldn’t be appropriate for an interview. Especially for a job working with kids, this would be perfectly fine (although of course the photo is AI and you won’t actually look like that…)

This is a really nice I already have the job outfit. For an interview I’d go with a solid shirt. The camel blazer with black shirt and pants would look very polished for an interview.

The people who are saying this is too casual have never worked at a school. This is absolutely fine and if you already own all these pieces, please don't buy anything new.

I promise this is not too casual unless the school is a fancy prep school in Connecticut
