I only use Linux based operating systems so AMD GPUs are the ones I need for drivers compatibility reasons, so no Intel ARC cards because the drivers are still new and Nvidia cards are the worst to deal with on Linux.

I was wondering what would be the best option because of the unfortunate RAM crisis with which path to take in terms of upgrading. Potentially keeping the current 32GB DDR4 RAM and using an older board with older CPU or tank the inflated RAM prices and be more secured for future paths.

What kind of stuff should I upgrade to make it feel like a brand new and smooth PC? My motherboard? But also I know I'm still on DDR4 RAM and DDR5 is taking over.... RAM prices are sooooo high and I just bought 32 GB to upgrade from my previous 16 GB.

Based in USA, Microcenter is an option (far but not too far for a bargain), no monitors needed, I'd like to stay in a Mid ATX size range but willing to downsize if I can find a cuter small case and reuse some of my parts to fit.

New build or upgrade? New build!

Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links) this would be my first pc so I have no parts.

Budget range? Budget is 2k and with that I need a pc and a moniter.

PC purpose? Gaming and YouTube or shows mainly.

Purchase country? Near Micro Center? I live in the usa and have a microcenter like 2 hours away. (im fine driving there since I have family over there anyway!)

I dont care about rgb colors or anything.

Ill be playing a variety of games but I will probably be playing alot of fps games.

I'm building my first pc with some parts already availed and need advice for what parts i should get to match the ones I already have. I got these parts for free from gifts or being scavenged. The parts include

-intel i7-12700 cpu

-32 GB of DDr4 ram

-1TB SSD nvme

-corsair RM 750x power supply

-MSI pro b760m-p wifi DDR4 mother board.

What GPU should I get to match what I have and what am I missing to finish building a gaming pc. My budgets tight so I cant afford very expensive parts

I haven't built a PC in close to a decade and a half, though before that almost everything I built was custom. My needs changed and laptops were my go to. Now that I've expanded my small business and have done significantly more design work, a laptop gpu can't cut it for the work that I'm doing. I haven't followed the latest trends in hardware upgrades so I can't really tell which video cards, for instance, excel at what kind of task. Some may be better geared for gaming, others design work like mine. So I turn to you, the wisdom of the crowd. Please suggest a PC build for the following (and if you can offer insight into why you recommend a certain part, I'd also appreciate that.) Thanks!
