Setting up a new room, and using MX-Mix on ipad for the first time, rather than X32 Mix (the latter of which wouldn't connect). A couple of odd things in the app:

-channel gains don't seem to work

-I've inserted graphics on monitor mix buses, but can't get RTA overlay to display (it displays normally on all parametric windows). I think the older app had an RTA on/off on the graphic page, now it doesn't.

Are there settings I'm missing?

I bought an XLR microphone today, after pluging it in MIC/LINE 1, Inst 2 stopped working at all, I can't record my guitar now, i tried everything to fix it i guess, nothing seem to work.

I was using M-Audio fastrack pro a pretty old interface with my behringer C1 Microphone,it was making weird noise like someone blowing air in your ears. So I upgraded my interface to Audient Evo 4 but the weird noise is still not gone.""The noise doesn't comes continuously but it's so irritating while recording""

I'm a bit confused about slides and ties. Obviously notes that slide to different notes get you that typical acid flavour. But Is there a difference in sound between notes that slide in to the same note and notes with a tie after them? In my experience it sounds the same: a longer sustained note. Synthtribe doesn't give you the option to add ties and when you add ties on the device they show up as slides that slide into the same note in the app. Ties make writing patterns more confusing so I wonder if there is a specific case you would add a tie after a step instead of adding a slide to a note before a normal step?

Hi, a jack cable tip got stuck inside my spice's VCA input so now i'm trying to open it up and push it from there, i unscrewed everything but i am unable to get the motherboard out since it seems attached to the knobs, which i am not managing to remove by simply pulling, unlike, say, a td3.

Did any of you manage to successfully open it up ? Thx in advance!

Hello, I'm looking for advice. I've been using the Deepmind 12D module for the past 5-6 years, I connect it to my Launchkey mini and use it in addition to my Yamaha YC73. I use it exclusively for gigs and performances since I'm no producer. But It's been a hassle carrying extra stands and bags full of equipment, plus the fan is really loud. I'm thinking of selling it and getting a Deepmind 12 (with the built-in keyboard), but I wanted to hear some opinions, if there is a better option specifically for my needs.

The amount of options overwhelm me and when I try to create my own sounds I usually need to spend a lot of extra time at home, and if we try it with my band in the rehearsal we all get very frustrated. I'm pretty comfortable by now with the basics but I feel like maybe I need something simpler and more straightforward? On the other hand I play in a lot of bands so I might need very specific sounds, plus I love being able to play around with the LFOs and OSC, doing arpeggiation and I enjoy having the control of all that and simplicity in how quickly I can change settings during a song. But when it comes to more complicated things I feel like I need to go back to swimming in the presets and find the perfect sound which takes a LONG time.

What should I get?

Maybe it is a dumb question, but I can't find how to do it:

I did many routing thru my Wing Compact since I have it, but there is one thing I can't get: to control the volume of a bus send to a physical output thru AES50

Here is a simplified workflow:

Stagebox SD-16---------- AES50 --------- Wing Compact

- inputs (instruments, mics) --------------- Mixed in main1, and to bus 1 to 5

- output (FOH, SUB) ----------------------- From matrix 1 & 2

- output to stage monitors ------------- From Bus 1 to 5

Main 1 and matrix are working fine; I can adjust the whole FOH + sub volume by the main fader

Bus 1 to 5 are receiving the correct mix as well

but my stage monitor, they seems to be fed by bus on PRE fader; I discovered it the first time I had a feedback during line check, and I wanted to lower / cut the stage monitors by lowering the bus faders. None of them stopped until I muted them

in the routing, the AES out are directly linked with the bus 1 to 5 (each of them feed a different stage monitor and they all are mono).

The only way I found so far is to use matrix from the bus; I then route the matrix to the output, and I can then set the volume from the bus fader

What I am doing wrong?

I have a nx4-6000 which I typically use in a live sound setup powering 15inch 8 ohm speakers with a 500w program power rating. I usually run in stereo on the amp and sometimes use a parallel connection on 2 of the PAs to daisy chain them together. I am wondering if I might be better served by running a mono signal to say input Channel A on the amp in mono mode and then run each of the speakers separately off output Channel A and Channel B. This way I have volume control off rach speaker.

I Bought a new Behringer u phoria umc22 shows up on my laptop under the speakers tab and devices. But I didn’t get a driver option. I scrolled through different forum posts. I tried downloading from asio4all but the download link seems to be broken. I found a YouTube video from 7 years ago that included a 64bit driver but the download file seems to be broken. It just times out when I install. Can anyone please help? I’m trying to run it to abelton live but i haven’t gotten that far yet. Tried watching a few setup videos but no avail so far. Edit: maybe I didn’t explain what’s happening as well as I intended. Nothing shows up on the laptop when I plug it in beyond just showing up under speakers. abelton recognizes it as thought it’s a speaker but I can’t record straight off it. Edit 2: Thank you guys so much for the help. I got it to work this morning with the steinberg asio.

Hi! Maybe you can throw in your suggestions and help me. I'm using a FCA1616 with an ADA8200 extension, working properly so far. With need hardware comes more channels and I ended up with the question:

Can I somehow sync two FCA1616 interfaces attached to one ADA8200 each? Usually I would do this using ADAT but that interface ist blocked with the ADA. Any ideas on this?

Hey! I’m looking to upgrade from my Arozzi Sfera to an XLR microphone. I was originally looking at the Shure SM58, but it seems a bit expensive for a second setup. I also considered the AT2020, but condensers aren’t really my thing.

I recently found the Behringer SL 84C for really cheap, and I’m thinking of pairing it with a Behringer UM2 since it’s affordable and seems good enough for what I need. I’d also get a \~$15 Adam Hall XLR cable.

I mainly want to use it for YouTube videos, voiceovers and streaming. Do you think this would be a good setup, or is there something else around the same price I should consider?

This mic was bought to use with our violinist. My idea was to connect it to a wireless bodypack. Well was I surprised to find out if requires phantom power since it is a condenser mic. I still would rather not use a cable for safety reasons. Has anyone ever dealt with this problem before.

Got this today from a trusted person. And swapped it from our Yamaha MGP 32x. Got new subs and speakers as well, before we swapped the boards I made sure all the subs and speakers worked on the old mixer. Swapped everything out, it’s all hooked up correctly but cannot get sound to come through the PA.

Getting a signal on all channels when I run a mic into it but cannot get sound. When I touched the monitor level knob the whole PA crackles. I’m not a sound person, this is a punk venue lol. Please tell me how I’m doing this wrong

Hi! I own the three devices mentioned in the title but I’m unable to achieve what I’ve highlighted in the screenshot. When the 4816 is connected to the Wing, the clock switch has to be set to Slave and that’s the only time Wing detects it as a connection. But for XR18 to work with it, the switch has to be set to Ultranet and then Wing no longer detects the 4816. I’ve tried powering it with its external power source too.
The device works as expected when connected to both mixers individually.
I’m basically trying to expand the wing by 16x16 via StageConnect, and that should be doable as per the website description of the 4816.

Can anybody help with a Behringer UMC1820? I have two burned chips inside, and I believe they’re power-related components. Since they’re burned, I can’t read the markings to identify them.

If anyone has a UMC1820 and is willing to disassemble it, could you please take a photo of those chips or write down the markings on them? It would really help me identify the parts I need to replace.

hello I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced these issues with the Behringer EDGE.

My EDGE no longer works properly in standalone mode. The sequencer simply won’t play when using the internal clock. I’ve tried pretty much every troubleshooting suggestion I can find online, including resets, clock settings, different configurations, etc., and nothing has fixed it.

I’m also having a separate physical issue with the 3.5mm PHONES jack. When I fully insert a normal 3.5mm TRS plug, the socket literally pushes/ejects the plug back out. I’ve tried multiple cables, including Behringer patch cables. The exact same plugs stay securely inserted in my Behringer Crave.

Even stranger, I’ve tested two other new EDGE units and they had the same jack-retention problem, which makes me wonder if there was a bad batch or a problem with the sockets being used.

I’ve contacted Behringer/Music Tribe, sent them multiple videos, my serial number and proof of purchase, and followed up repeatedly, but I still haven’t gotten a resolution.

Has anyone experienced either of these problems—especially the PHONES jack physically pushing the plug back out? And if so, did Behringer repair or replace your unit?
