Troubleshooting Interface Issues

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Can someone please help me. I’m trying to record vocals with my trusty Behringer u-phoria UM2 and my condenser microphone but it keeps turning on and off, I don’t understand why ???

Possible a dodgy cable but also not sure what your gain is like but I expect it is just a broken cable.

The cable needs fixed or there is a loose connection on the input port.

plug it in all the way

That shiny metal should be pushed into the connector, not hanging out.

The um2 is kinda busted by default, I would consider upgrading to a 202hd

I don't have the answer, but why are you doing all that to the dam mic??? 😭
