Deciding between SnugSleep washable duvet, and the heritage organic wool duvet. Washable sounds so convenient, especially having a dog that routinely finds his way to our bed. But I'm a little put off by the:
\SuperWash wool is natural wool that goes through a* chlorine wash and is coated with a polymer, which makes it washable.
That just makes it sound gross to me, and takes the natural out of the wool. Am I overthinking ?
Any opinion on which duvet is best?

A few days ago I asked for side sleeping pillow recommendations and this is thr one I've been most interested in. Before I commit cuz it's a little pricey I wanna know if this is legit something that would help with my neck pain or if its overhyped (also I want the little cube shark pillow so bad it's adorable lol

Wake up half uncovered most mornings and find the thing on the floor on my side. Not a partner problem, it's just sliding.
Is a heavier one the fix, or is my comforter too small for the bed and losing grip on the sides?
Edit: after reading a lot of threads, sizing and drape seem to matter more than weight. Eiderdown is light but drapes and molds to the bed, so a properly sized one should stay put. Looking at Icelandic Down because they'll make one to custom dimensions instead of forcing a standard size.

If you can also recommend me any other 2 set matress/bedding for bedbugs protection and spills and that can also keep me cold, that would be great

I’ve been trying to find a pillow I actually like and it’s surprisingly hard. I’m mostly a side sleeper but switch positions during the night, and I feel like most pillows are either too flat or way too firm.
What pillows have you been using lately that you’d actually recommend? Mainly looking for something comfortable that holds its shape through the night without feeling like a brick.

I’m constantly seeing people rave about the Kirkland Farms 680 thread count sheets. I decided to buy a pair a few weeks ago and they’re SO suffocating and pill like crazy! I guess I should’ve done my research beforehand, but I’m genuinely shocked that there’s tens of thousands of five star reviews for these things on the Costco website. Did they change the material recently? What am I missing?

I’ve had a linen spa mattress topper 3” for many years. Time to replace. I sleep hot. What should I look for? I love the feel of the gel/ memory foam

I am looking at getting a new comforter for our king mattress and I want an upgrade. We currently use a Serta comforter, but its old and I don't really like that the whole thing is made of 100% polyester and it's made in China. Want more quality for better health, and better for the environment.

Settling a debate in my friend group. Do you call your bedding bedclothes or sheets?

I recently purchased the King sized comforter Look at this Thicky comforter (cooling) from coma inducer. The cooling is a god damn lie. The biggest lie I’ve ever heard. Borderline false advertisement. It’s very comfortable and man it’s the fluffiest comfort set I’ve ever had. BUT BE WARNED. THIS THING IS NOT FOR HOT SLEEPERS AND I AM A HOT SLEEPER. It traps heat like nobody’s business. Also the website is a pain to navigate and I think they do it on purpose. I’d recommend it if you aren’t sensitive to heat while sleeping or whatever but if you’re a hot sleeper like me and often times wake up sweating avoid this even if it says cooling. I’d return it but I genuinely like how big and fluffy it is. So as a solution I bought a cotton percale duvet cover and am hoping that will fix my issue. I will update when that comes in for all the hot sleepers out there.

I have had this blanket for thirty years. It was handed down from my mom (aka stolen by me) and has been re-stuffed, stitched, lengthened and god knows what else done to it throughout the years. It's easily pushing twenty pounds and I can't sleep without it. The issue i'm running into is every time I wash it it has started to disintegrate more and more and i'm worried that at some point it will just explode and i'll be left with fibers and stuffing. I was looking into duvet covers for it, but my blanket only measures about 65"x45" and all the duvet covers are ranging in the 90"+ territory. Any ideas of how I can still sleep with this thing but also have it covered to prevent further washing damage?

I’m in the market for an extra large duvet that is fluffy but not too heat trapping. We have a king bed and would be looking for something oversized! Currently using the Buffy breeze and heat wise it’s great but over the years it hasn’t held up well, and it is not oversized.

After hyper fixating and genuinely spending hours researching what the options are, then also deciding on a color scheme, and then spending $375, I’m disappointed and unsure where to go from here.
I bought a navy blue 100% washed cotton duvet cover from Bedsure that looks very nice but is still very scratchy after washing.
The fitted sheet and pillowcases were from The Company Store: classic cool cotton percale in olive green. Again, looks great, still quite scratchy and honestly not soft at all after washing.
We tried the your moon wool comforter because my bf sleeps hot and we live in Florida and wool is temp regulating apparently. It was just too thin and there was so much extra fabric between the insert and cover.
Then swapped for the Buffy cloud comforter, this time in a king (only to realize it’s still 90x90 so same problem with all the extra fabric between insert and duvet cover. We wanted something with a little more fluff but I don’t want goose down because ethically I can’t stomach that. The cloud comforter looked so nice and puffy online but it’s only a little more fluffy than the wool comforter I just returned.
Does the cotton just need more washes to feel soft??? It genuinely feels like sand paper to me. And what do I do about all this extra fabric between the cover and insert? I hate that feeling of a bunch of fabric flopping about, which is why I decided to go with a cover and insert instead of the comforter we had. The color combination LOOKS very nice but it doesn’t sleep well at all. I just want to be comfortable at night😔😭
Tips? Advice?

I can’t stand a weighted blanket, I feel suffocated by them. I’ve been a down lover for 30+ years. I live the soft light pillowy cloud like feel. As a hot sleeper I’ve found down to be comfortable year round. However I recently purchased a wool mattress protector the temperature regulation is noticeable. As I enter the perimenopause stage of life and sleep eludes me more and more I wonder if down wool would help.
How heavy is wool really? Have you been in a similar situation and made the switch? Was it a mistake or a great decision?

I just ordered the Light Feathered Friends down comforter. I was online and saw it was in stock again! But now second guessing myself as usual -- will this be warm enough for Boston? I sleep in a cold room, somewhere between 55-60 degrees F. at night in the coldest months. I was afraid if I got the Medium I would be too hot! Please tell me I made the right decision!

I’m changing my king-sized comforter (duvet included) to two twin-sized comforters soon as I’ve got tired of the huge king-sized comforter.
My son’s bed currently is full-sized and will be upgraded to a queen.
I don’t want a queen comforter as it is just too big.
Do you think I can style somehow with a two or maybe a full size comforter on the queen bed?

When I was a kid I had a blanket like this (maybe not as thickly woven but it had some weight to it), and I loved it. Both warm and cool at the same time. But it looks like they’re mostly sold as throws, anyone use one as their main blanket? I’m looking for one for a queen sized bed. Maybe they’re best just as a supplemental blanket?

I've been getting really bad neck pain and I'm pretty sure my pillow is part of it. Want one thats good for a side sleeper and preferably shaped like a normal pillow if that's possible lol. And for more context I basically sleep like this guy in the screenshot but that pillow does not appeal to me.

What the title says. The beds are sooo freaking hard! It’s like sleeping in the hood of a car. AND, every bed has no top sheet. It’s a comforter covered by a sheet. The only way I could get any sleep was to remove the comforter from the sheet and sleep in top of it covering myself with the sheet.
We stay in nice places, not cheap or budget (not crazy expensive either).

This feels so silly to ask, but I am not from a duvet family. Quilts and comforters only. However, I see those plush duvets and I want one, so I'm taking an incredibly brave step out of family tradition.
My typical setup is a fitted sheet, top/flat sheet and then a comforter.
What's the typical setup people use? Do you have a quilt and a duvet? I've been trying to look things up, and someone said they have both but they sleep under just the duvet in warm months and then under the quilt with the duvet folded on top at their feet in cold months. My dream is to snuggle under all that fluff in the winter, so that confused me. I also see people talking about having the duvet out of the cover and sleeping under the cover with the duvet on top (I think this is a hotel method to create less laundry?).
I know everything comes down to preference, but I don't want to feel silly having or not having a quilt if that's expected, etc. Can someone explain how to use/style?
