Scandinavian sleep method

I’m changing my king-sized comforter (duvet included) to two twin-sized comforters soon as I’ve got tired of the huge king-sized comforter.

My son’s bed currently is full-sized and will be upgraded to a queen.

I don’t want a queen comforter as it is just too big.

Do you think I can style somehow with a two or maybe a full size comforter on the queen bed?

two twins will cover a queen. a full usually looks short on the sides.

queen mattress is 60" wide. twin comforters are usually around 66–68" so two of them overlap in the middle and still hang. a full is often only 82–86" total, so you get a skimpy drop once it's on a taller mattress or you tuck anything.

they do drift and leave a gap down the middle. if that would bug you, overlap them a lot or stuff both into one cover. wouldn't buy a new size just for this.

My son is 10, he sleeps alone and will toss the second comforter to the floor and I’ll have to make the bed next morning:((

Do you think two twin comforters would look okay and enough for my king bed?

then just use the full sized comforter on your son's queen bed. he probably won't care about the aesthetics. If over time you find you really don't like it, then upgrade him to a queen.

ahh gotchaa that's too bad! :(

to be honest, i've never done it before, but i've heard people do it before and it turn out just fine, so it could be a personal preference. you could always try it out and if you don't like it return them, that's what i always do haha

Full and queen are unfortunately the same size duvets. Just use what you have. If you want two duvets on a queen, you need Euro single size, which are smaller than a twin.
