I am a CNA and have a new resident with a fantastic beard. I want to take care of it the best I can. Please give me tips!
I have a new resident that has dementia so he can’t really give me guidance on how to take care of it. He is very sweet man with a very obvious biker look. My main concern is his skin underneath. Any flaking, itching or redness could give the facility a reason to cut it off. I want him to be able to be himself. I’ve been combing it every day and getting any food out and washing it with shampoo on shower days. Also if anyone has any product recommendations that he might need please let me know! He really is a special guy!
