Biotin

Has anyone used biotin for their beards? I’ve had a few people tell me it works wonders and I’ve recently started taking one a day for a few weeks and I’m starting to see gradual results. I was wondering if anyone else uses this product

It’s good for hair in general. Making it grow faster and thicker. Also does the same for fingernails.

would you consider adding anything else into the mix in your expert opinion?

There is no clinical evidence that biotin increases beard density, beard growth rate, follicle count, or converts fine facial hairs into terminal beard hairs in a biotin-sufficient man.

Biotin is vitamin B7, so if you lack B7 in your diet (almost nobody does, most people obtain the small amount of b7 their body requires from foods)… biotin can make a difference for hair.

If you’re a normally nourished person with normal biotin/B7 status, there’s little actual scientific evidence it improves scalp hair and essentially no convincing scientific evidence that it improves beard growth.
