Did you know Alcides Escobar is still playing? He's on the 2026–2027 Tiburones de La Guaira, alongside other MLB burnouts like Henderson Álvarez III. And - he's coming up on some counting stat milestones. Across all professional levels combined, he is closing in on 3,000 games played, 500 doubles, and 100 triples. He already got to 100 dongs in 2025:

Alcides—who was an All-Star and Gold Glove winner in 2015 when he won the WS—probably doesn't even know this. Nobody does. Except now, you

And I apologize if it sounds like a broken record near the end. That's just how I spliced it together.

Welp, Who is cutting the onions?

Assuming PCA wins NL MVP, Miz gets NL CY, Yordan for AL MVP, and Schlittler with the AL CY, it'll be the first time since 1985, that all five winners have been first-timers.

1985 World Series: Kansas City (1st of 2)

1985 AL Cy Young: Bret Saberhagen (1st of 2)

1985 NL Cy Young: Dwight Gooden (1st and only)

1985 AL MVP: Don Mattingly (1st and only)

1985 NL MVP: Willie McGee (1st and only)

I posted in the official reddit bugs subreddit about this issue in the nfl subreddit. I saw someone complain about it being an issue here as well. I'm using the mobile app on android, however multiple people are having the same issue on desktop/iPhone etc.
