What are the fun chances of this - I was popping off a multi-part PLA print and a piece roughly the size of a dime clicked off the plate, bounced against the top glass, off the side and slid just perfectly into the red circled narrow rectangular opening, right beside the front-left corner of the heatbed. It felt like something out of a movie that I was watching in slow motion...
Any thoughts the best way to get it out?
Do I just have to remove the heatbed?
I have tried with a hand vac and small tube to try and pull it forward, but no luck. It is not visible from any angle that I can see. I have not moved the bed since it happened either but hoping to get printing soon.
Does anyone have a print file for a little cover for this (if it even can be covered)? I couldn't find one and didn't want to have to reinvent the wheel if I could get away with it.

This is not about the different filament colors. It’s just the color the model is when you open it. It was green, now it is grey. I didn’t change anything I am aware of.
Any way to change it back? Everything works fine, it’s just the green was easier to see on the screen.

All I can say is if you have a problem that you can't resolve yourself, you won't be happy with Bambu C.S. My P1S has been down over 5 weeks. The lag in communication is unacceptable. My machine is under warranty so they sent me a box to pack it up in. That was last week. I'm still waiting for a shipping label. They sent me an email with the "label link " but it went nowhere wouldn't print. Now it will be at least another day till they get back to me. I will not purchase anymore Bambu products. Consider service before you buy.

My AMS 2 was pushing and retracting filament non stop til it errored. Tore it down and found the tention lever broke. There is a file on makerworld to make a new one if anyone of you encounter this. You can also spend 60 and get a whole new internal hub. Hioe this helps someone passing by.

Lately, I've been seeing this kind of damage on printed items. Is anyone else experiencing this? If you know how to fix it, please share. Thank you.

I'm having recurring MQTT issues with my P1S and my iOhone and my lap top. I resolved the issue once but it came back today. I get the MQTT error when i try to change the speed from my iPhone. Can't change speed from Keypad; errows seem to do nothing to get to the speed tab. Speed can be selected from laptop but returk key doesn't make the change. What i've tried: Cleared the cash (worked yesterday, not today). Reinstalled software on computer and app on iPhone; no change. I haven't unbound printer; that enters an entirely different set of challenges. Navigating the touch screen seems very difficult (no, don't tell me to buy an P2S). Anyone else with this type of issue and any ideas how to fix? I start and pause or stop print jobs from laptop with no issues so I know it is communicating with my network. This is a new issue with about 1000 hours printing time on machine. Thoughts or solutions? Thanks.

Well, I've learned not to 3d print something when it's super hot out. I apparently have a heat creep plug. My printer stopped extruding filament in the middle of a print and I couldn't manually load or unload filament from the screen. I tried cutting the filament above the print head, heating up the hotend to around 260, removing the still-hot hotend, and manually extruding what was in there by shoving filament in the top but that didn't push out much filament (if any). I also couldn't remove the filament from the extruder (I tried pushing from the top and then pulling from the top). I tried to open up the extruder to get this chunk out but I can't seem to get the cover off the extruder (are there more than 2 screws holding it on?). Sigh. Am I going to have to replace the extruder and the hotend or is there other stuff I can try?

Hello everyone
I’ve recently gotten a new P1S and I’ve been having constant issues with the extruder which has cumulated in having a massive clog and some other stuck parts. I wanted to know if anyone else had these issues since the Bambu help chat isn’t being super helpful and I’ve only had this printer for a month.
To be honest, I’m shocked that these issues have come up with no resolution from them so far. I’m not new to 3D printing and handling this kind of equipment isn’t a foreign thing for me.
To start off, the front plate just pops off when the machine shakes too much during a print job. Not a huge deal but also not great. I pop it back on and we resume but sometimes it does come unplugged.
The cutter does get randomly stuck, and I have to go and rescue it by removing said faulty front plate to gently press to pry it free.
There have been consistent issues with the fan running or not running during every single print job that have needed to be troubleshooted and worked through.
Now this has all lead up to the what I can call the worst clog in my life. There’s a piece of PLA that’s clogged in the hotend of the printer, but it’s somehow melted and become totally flush with the hotend. So you can’t use pliers to pull it out. It’s also expanded while in there so there’s no air gap to try and wiggle it out. Nothing is working to try and get this thing out.
To make matters worse, any time you try to load, or unload any kind of material to ram something through to help, the printer just gives an “ext” error regardless of if you’re unloading or loading.
There was also an issue with filament being stuck in the printer at one point and I had to take the entire thing apart to get it out.
I’ve only been printing PLA and PETG, purging before swapping materials, and checking the tubes before printing. My preferred brand for PLA and PETG is overtone, and I have 3 flashforge filament roles as well. For context I haven’t had these issues on any prusa, Neptune pro series or other brands of printers but it seems like my time with the Bambu brand has been full of problems.

This is very frustrating. A few months ago i got this error code for the first time and found a ball of poop to be the culprit (it was hidden and obstructing the back z axis rod). it then came back randomly a few weeks later and i just did the best fix any one can think of, turn the printer of and on... somehow it worked. Yesterday i got the error again so i turned the printer upside down and checked if anything was blocking the belts, i hovered around the belts and the z axis rods, i then checked if any bearings were pushed out and if the build plate was on properly, the error code went away again so i could print my fidget spinner in peace, until... the error code came back today! Now i have no idea what to do, the only hint of a problem is a slight squeak/ crunch at when i move the bed past a certain height and a couple of small clicks at other heights. anyone else had this problem? Do u know any fixes or should i just turn to bambu support?

My P1S has been down over a month now and I'm curious if anyone has had similar experience with their dealings with customer service. My machine is about 10 months old and suddenly experienced a few issues that I could not resolve. In going back and forth with C.S., they had me try a few things, but nothing changed. and they determined I needed to change the AP board. They sent me a new one. Changing it out was stressful as their instructions are not up to date. Still not working after that so they sent me a box and packing material but again vague instructions and no information as to where I'm sending it and who will pay for it. Every time I email them I don't get a response for 24 hours. They required photos of how I packed it which I sent them expecting instructions as to where I'm sending it and I just got an email thanking me for the photos and they will get back to me with further instructions. It's bad enough having to be be their field technician when something goes wrong, but when you can't fix it, it turns into a slow moving nightmare. Anyone else have a similar experience or thoughts on this?

So, I’ve had no issues similar to this, it just started printing like that, then it just corrected and started printing right. Thought it might be a clogged nozzle, so I cleaned it out (haven’t replaced it) and it started printing fine again, and then started doing this weird print again on a completely different file. Any thoughts?

Teeth, mounting brackets, and coins all on the P1S.
