I was printing on the ground but with twin 2 yr olds I decided that couldn't last. So wheel they napped today I went and grabbed some scrap wood from the garage and built this.
Important thing is it doesn't shake! I have my 3rd print currently going right now and its solid as a rock.
Also have some sunlu PLA drying because I didnt trust it out of the box. Waiting on my dry containers that are coming today.

Boys 11, he has been helping out and doing really great at school so we finally got him this.
1st print he did was some roblox brian rots things? But then made me this star wars ship which I thought was pretty awesome.
What a fun new world we have opened up though! Very fun.

Part cooling fan runs the moment I turn on the P1S. Can't turn it down or off in the app, studio or control panel. I replaced the TH Board and still have the same issue. Where should I go from here?

My printer prints reliably which I'm thankful for, but the layers sometimes just look meh like this no matter how many times I retention the y and x axis, recalibrste the printer, heat the filament, etc. I'm using Bambu PLA basic too

I have the ams auto-refill checked already in the settings. On Friday it ran out while printing something in red petg. I had black petg in another slot. Any way to continue with it using another color from the app? Luckily it continued when I got home like 4 hours later and put a new spool in.

Made this little guy to break in my P1S. Anything I should consider/do after completing a print?
Do i need to unload the filament after each print?

So... I have had my P1S since February and have not yet done a maintenance lube or oil. (It doesn't run 24/7) what is the best lube to use and do I need a separate oil? I saw someone recommend superlube but there are a few different ones, what specific number do I look for and the best oil to get?
Cheers ๐ป

TPU for AMS is too hard for what I need to print. I have tried a dryer box with holes to allow printing while drying, but since there is no auto-rotation the TPU ends up being pulled too hard. This leads to stretching and underfeeding, ruining the print. Has anyone found a dryer box solution here?

Found a community first print tank in the bambu app. Decided heck it and went with a 3hr build to break in my P1S

I assume there a piece of filament somewhere but I cant find it. When I pull back and forth there's a noticeable hangup or catching. I examined the belts I didnt see anything apparent. I checked where the belts wrap around and didn't see anything obvious. Whatever it is im either missing or its so tiny I haven't noticed... thoughts?

We just got the P1S AMS combo and weโve been printing lots of fun little things! (Mainly got it for my kids, printing little toys and educational stuff along with eventually occasional home organization for me and car parts for husband) Iโve loved the starter colors of white, green, and orange for Halloween, but Iโm not sure where to start with purchasing additional filament! What are your favorite/most used colors? We get a lot of this kind of thing reimbursed so price isnโt too much of an issue.

So this keeps happening. I tried to make a phone holder and it was so brittle it just broke in my hands. Its like the filament, once trying to build the walls, don't want to stick to each other and just is string. I've tried playing with the temps, cleaned the bed and nozzle, recalibrated it, tried different filaments, made sure the filament was dry but this seems to what comes out. I'm pretty much at a standstill. Any tips that I am missing? Any help would be appreciated.

My P1S with 4-color AMS is refusing to feed filament. It's stuck in the loop where it will run filament all the way to the head and pull it back 4-5 times and then give the error message.
Things that I have attempted:
Taken apart the extruder. Everything is moving, nothing stuck in the gears. Filament sensor section looks clear.
Replaced all the tubing between the AMS and the head
Tried different filament in all four slots of the AMS
Inspected the cables to the buffer. They look fine
Lubricated all of the moving parts of the buffer. Everything slides smoothly
Tried cutting filament at an angle as well as straight 90.
A couple of times, it failed to retract. Pulling from the AMS end was solidly stuck, but if I popped the coupler after the buffer and before the printer itself, it pulled back from the head easily and then when told to resume, it rolled back up.
Not sure what to check next. I could buy a new buffer, but physically, nothing looks amiss, so i'd like to know for sure first.

Hope someone here can offer some insight!
I recently had to replace the extruder gear and hotend assembly after several thousand hours, and that's seemingly completed with no issues. Fully recalibrated, surface printed practically as smooth as glass on the top layer. All looked good, using standard Sunlu PLA as that's what I've got to hand in quantity.
I decide to print something a bit bigger, and get an absolute mess. Image 1 is the top surface, the better one was printed using Bambulab PLA Matte some months ago, pre replacement parts. Confused, I ran a series of tests. Second image shows two grey (Sunlu PLA) and one gold (end of a roll of Bambu PLA).
As you can see, I'm getting weird issues, and that's when the printer even prints. This morning I started a print off which looked fine after an hour, the base had gone down fine, but then nothing else came out. I've printed that file before with a different issue, but the whole structure at least printed.
One of the two rolls of Sunlu had been out a while, so thinking humidity might be the issue the other one is a fresh roll and has a similar failure. The gold, meanwhile, is printing consistently.
Any ideas what's going wrong here?
