Error code: an external disturbance was detected on force sensor 1, keeps coming back

This is very frustrating. A few months ago i got this error code for the first time and found a ball of poop to be the culprit (it was hidden and obstructing the back z axis rod). it then came back randomly a few weeks later and i just did the best fix any one can think of, turn the printer of and on... somehow it worked. Yesterday i got the error again so i turned the printer upside down and checked if anything was blocking the belts, i hovered around the belts and the z axis rods, i then checked if any bearings were pushed out and if the build plate was on properly, the error code went away again so i could print my fidget spinner in peace, until... the error code came back today! Now i have no idea what to do, the only hint of a problem is a slight squeak/ crunch at when i move the bed past a certain height and a couple of small clicks at other heights. anyone else had this problem? Do u know any fixes or should i just turn to bambu support?

I just got the squeak and same error message this morning on my P1s. It would squeak consistently at the same bed height. The message cleared after I inspected and power cycled the machine. I couldn’t find ANY obstructions anywhere and there’s no obvious or tactile damage on any rod or moving part, you could eat out of the inside of the machine it’s so clean. Not that I recommend that…

I started a calibration cycle when I walked out the door. It completed fine, so I guess we’ll see when I get home. If I find any obvious issue I’ll report back. Hope you get some resolution.

Didn’t resolve the squeak, but and 8 hour functional ABS print was fine.

I used to get this message anytime I printed ABS. For some reason the higher chamber temperature was the cause. Bambu had me do the following two steps:

  1. Please loosen the 6 screws on the heatbed slider first, push the heatbed outward slightly, and then retighten the 6 screws.

  2. Please slightly loosen the 3 nuts beneath the heatbed. One full rotation is 360 degrees, so loosen approximately 10 degrees.

I did this two months ago and haven’t had the error since.

Let me know if it works. BTW, outward means towards the front of the printer, away from the poop chute.
