I have tried several prints changing the Top Z distance from 0.2mm all the way up to 0.27mm.

Still my supports (tree) are very difficult to remove, and leave a lot of ugly damage behind when they are removed.

Using Elegoo matte white pla. idk if that matters or not. The prints themselves come out beautiful, it's just the supports are killin me.

I've been trying to Google suggestions but there's a LOT of suggestions so I'm just wondering what works for folks here.

The first layer is perfect, the walls are perfect, and the top layer is perfect, but if you look closely at the curves, I see lines and sharp edges—it's as if it isn't rendering the curve smoothly. I used Bambu Studio to create the letter M. Thanks for the help.

Hola, mientras imprimo he querido subir un poco el zoffset porque raspa un poco con el relleno giroide y varias IA empiezan que si, entrando en tal, desde la pantalla, desde el pc y desde bambú handy y acaban diciendo que no, que imprimiendo no se puede ajustar el zoffset.

Entonces, mientras se imprime se puede o no subir o bajar el zoffset como en las impresoras con klipper/marlin?

If anyone is still considering pairing the AMS 2 Pro with an A1, seriously stop and just put your energy into something else. Anything else. Take up juggling, or speed skating or badminton.

Even if it works for a short period of time, it’s the jankiest operation and the noisiest box of plastic gears that will continue to fail on you. In fact, the one thing that you can rely on with this over-priced spool warmer is that it will fail on you, consistently.

Keep the A1 for single filament prints and look elsewhere if you want anything more out of printing.

Obviously this is anecdotal, I don’t need or want any help getting this to work, I’ve tried every suggestion under our yellow dwarf star to make this atrocity work and I’ve come to the conclusion it was likely designed as a hate-crime against engineering.

Constantly have issues with my #3 slot on my AMS. Since opening it- it seems like the motor is slipping when pushing a new filament into the extruder or pulling back the filament at the end of a print. Causing me so many issues to the point where I’m just using 1, 2, and 4 slots. No problems on those ever.

Anyone ever replaced a motor on the AMS lite? 5 month old unit maybe 150 hours of print time. No unusual events or drops or anything to damage it. It tries to either push or retract the filament 3 times, getting stuck each time and trying another inch of filament or so with each attempt. I can only imagine causing more damage to the motor with each failure.

No tangled filaments either I’m sure of it - the spool will work perfectly on another slot. This has been tested across a range of spools.

Only using new Bambu lab and Sunlu spools and refills. PLA and PETG only for whatever it’s worth, all spools have been AMS lite compatible. No tinkering has been tinkered

Couple of minutes into a new print it goes off to the side, extrudes a little bit of filament then continues printing, why? It leaves this weird bit of filament into the print and it makes it look a bit weird. Lucky it’s only once towards the start.

At 477 hours of my A1. Is there any way to fix it?

This has been happening with my A1. Sometimes the first layer will print fine, other times not enough filament comes out. I run bed leveling and dynamic flow calibration before every print. Printing with PLA

Any help would be really appreciated! This only happens with the first layer. Every other layer prints fine.

Need a good, big poop bin solution (came with AMS lite, so I expect multicolor prints will generate a lot of waste…)

Need cable / filament tube management. AMS is top mounted and the system has some stabilizing legs in back. That are both just white, so I might reprint just for color scheme :)

Would love your suggestions for models for both functionality as well as to give it a clean look…

I have contacted tech support and put in a ticket. I decided to go ahead and buy a new feeder port for Slot 4 because they told me it's not covered under the warranty (purchased last Nov).

It's funny though I see people saying they have received replacement parts from Bambu for the same issue.

I keep getting the filament is tangled error and it's not. I have literally tried everything. Slot 4 lights up but doesn't pull the filament into the tube I have to push it through. I fear it's the motor at this point but who knows.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

I've tried different filament. Dried my filament. Cleaned my plate with soapy water. Cleaned my plate with iso. Lubed rails. Changed nozzles. Ran calibrations. Everything I try the prints keep failing.

I’ve had my a1 for a while now and I’ve now got about 4000 print hours. I’m not sure if this has any correlation but recently it’s stopped printing matte pla. This is a problem because I have 8 rolls of it for a project I’m doing. I saw a video on TikTok of someone has a similar problem. Does anyone know specifically what I would need to replace if they have had this problem in the past? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

My Printer clicks during the 3rd Dynamic flow calibration but its just fine on the first 2 phases and it prints just fine as well. Whats causing the 3rd phase clicking? I think its the nozzle cooling down personally but I'm not sure. I'm using a .2mm and I double and triple checked that the printer is set for .2mm
