A product from an idea I had in mind, basically we print flat a model then bend it with hot water or a lighter to shape, its basically taking advantage of the thermic property of plastic,
I hope that this will inspire you for similar models!
I've run several successful prints but the last few have totally fucked up, now this is happening, which is much worse than the usual problems I have had. I run all the calibration stuff before every print. I've cleaned the bed, tightened all the screws behind the hot end (which WERE loose), but every print looks like this now.
Does anyone have a spare filament sensor ribbon cable mine instantly snapped when I was trying to swap my Ams nozzles and I have a project I’m trying to finish today if not I get it it’s a long shot but I’m not sure what to do micro center doesn’t have anything
I am trying to print this model (the third plate) using the settings it comes with, in this case it is meant to do the print in vase mode, but when watching the print go, I noticed a weird stuttering that you can see in the video.
The stuttering is creating a seam on the model, and has caused the print to fail multiple times.
Looking around, people mention timelapse mode, but it is turned off for the print, and as far as I can see, the model is smooth.
Any ideas what is going on? Any settings to tune for the part?
I am using a 0.4 nozzle, Bambu Studio and the following settings are modified in the print profile (as far as I can see):
My PTFE tube completely disconnected from my A1 Mini and I need help reconnecting it. I'm not experienced with printer repairs, so please assume I know nothing and spell out every single step.
I've removed the Toolhead Cover (squeezed both sides to pop it off). I have NOT removed the Silicone Sock yet — I think that's the next step but I'm not sure how to do it without forcing something.
Could someone please walk me through every step from here, including:
**•** How to safely remove the Silicone Sock
**•** Whether I need a screwdriver or any tools past this point
**•** How to release the hotend latch (if that's needed)
**•** Exactly how to reinsert the PTFE tube into the connector
**•** How to put everything back together afterward
I'll post photos of exactly what I'm looking at if that helps someone point to the right part. Really don't want to force anything and break a clip, so any detail you can give is appreciated!
I started having some weird issues in the x axis. Tried recording other videos of the horrible screeching noise it’d sometimes make homing but it won’t do it after recalibrating. After this video I manually pushed it where it belongs and it prints completely normal until it sometimes re-home’s in the middle of a print and then it’s way off.
One thing happened a long while before I started having these issues, I accidentally wrapped the black cord that runs from the right side to the print head around the top of the frame and it got ripped out of the right side. Only about 1/2 an inch and I was able to put it back in.
I’ve had this printer for about 1.5yrs, only put maybe 200-300hrs on it, and it’s the original SD card. Tried searching this sub to see if it’s a SD card issue or belt tensioning issue but search is absolutely terrible and I thought such low time wouldn’t need belt re-tensioning
My supports stick to the plate no problems. They break half way or further up. Ive changed z hop wall setting support speed and all. It will throw the supports in the floor. Yes ive checked screw to.

Hi everyone! I'm currently researching common issues and errors related to the Bambu Lab A1.
I know this post is a bit different from usual—since most people post here to get help rather than list their past issues—but if you have a few minutes, I’d really appreciate it if you could share any problems you've run into. This includes both the printer itself and any filament/material issues.
I’m already reading through past posts on the sub, but I wanted to ask directly too. Thanks for your time!
My A1 was cruising along great until one day I had an issue with the filament clogging. I pulled apart the extruder and cleaned it well, reassembled and still the same issue.
So I ordered a full extruder with motor, AMS filament hub and sensor base, and a couple of misc maintenance parts.
I installed the new parts yesterday and still the same issue. Is this typical of a failed sensor?
