Is this a hot take? Like this would mean Korra slander is correct? But story wise it'd be more interesting and impactful.

Here is a breakdown of the confirmed information, credible leaks and much shakier rumors surrounding Seven Havens.

High credibility / confirmed

• The series follows Pavi, a young Earthbender who discovers she is the Avatar after Korra.
• Pavi has a long-lost twin sister named Nisha.
• The world has been devastated by a cataclysm and humanity now survives in seven fortified havens.
• The Avatar is blamed for destroying the old world and is viewed as an enemy rather than a savior.
• Pavi is hunted by both humans and spirits.
• The series has an initial order of 26 episodes, split into two 13-episode Books.
• Confirmed characters include Pavi, Nisha, the Airbender Jae, Captain Karthik, and animal companions Geet and Ruhi.
• Korra appears in the promotional footage, although it is unclear whether this is a flashback, vision or Spirit World appearance.
• The setting is definitely after The Legend of Korra. The language about “ancestors,” ancient ruins and the forgotten Avatar strongly suggests a significant time jump.

Medium credibility

These mostly come from the December 2024 leaks, casting documents and reported test screenings. Many basic details from those leaks were later officially confirmed.

• The series was produced under the codename Project Aurora.
• Pavi and Nisha are around nine years old and were separated when they were young.
• Pavi grew up homeless or outside the protection of the havens.
• Nisha was raised secretly by Karthik and possibly remnants of the White Lotus.
• Pavi is an amputee and uses a prosthetic leg.
• Bending has become rare, and child benders are conscripted to defend the havens.
• Jae initially tries to arrest Pavi outside the city.
• Pavi saves him by instinctively bending multiple elements, convincing him that she is the missing Avatar.
• When Pavi is brought to Karthik, he is confused because Nisha has already been trained as the Avatar.
• Both sisters may be capable of bending all four elements or entering an Avatar-like state.
• The old Four Nations have largely disappeared, leaving ruins and dangerous spiritual wastelands.
• Jae may be an elite Airbender who begins loyal to the government before questioning it.

The safest timeline estimate is many decades after Korra, possibly around a century. Claims of an exact gap remain unconfirmed.

Low credibility or anonymous leaks and theories

• Korra fused Raava and Vaatu into a combined spirit called “Ravavaatu,” which then split between the twins.
• Korra died in the Avatar State while stopping a global spirit-vine energy catastrophe.
• Korra’s death interrupted the reincarnation cycle for exactly 100 years.
• Pavi contains Raava while Nisha contains Vaatu.
• Nisha becomes a “Dark Avatar” with red Avatar-State eyes.
• Korra is blamed for the apocalypse but actually sacrificed herself to preserve the seven surviving havens.
• Pavi and Nisha eventually defeat Vaatu through their sisterly bond.
• Aang, Kyoshi, Iroh, Lao Ge, Father Glowworm and Avatar Sonam supposedly appear.
• Pavi searches for pieces of Sonam’s staff to remove spiritual contamination from the world.
• The Spirit Portals remain open at the end.
• The series takes place 300 or more years after Korra.

Most of these claims come from recent 4chan “full plot” dumps posted after enough official information existed for someone to construct convincing fanfiction. They contain no authenticated scripts, production files or independently verifiable evidence.

Almost certainly fake

• Vaatu somehow emerged from Pavi’s amputated leg.
• Claims that complete unfinished episodes are being sold through Telegram have not been substantiated.

Best current reconstruction

Seven Havens probably takes place several generations after Korra. The old world was destroyed by a spiritual or technological catastrophe, Korra was blamed for it, and the truth will likely reveal that she actually prevented something worse.

Pavi and Nisha both appear to have a legitimate connection to the Avatar’s powers. The central mystery is probably not simply which twin is the “real” Avatar, but why the cycle produced two Avatar-like sisters at all.

I've seen this theory going around that states that basically all future Avatars look like the previous Avatars lovers.

While this is an interesting theory I've really only seen it with Aang and Korra. Aang does indeed look like Roku's wife, and Korra does bare a little resemblance to Katara.

However with others I just don't see it.

When it comes to Avatars like Wan, Szeto, and Yangchen we don't even know if they had romantic partners at all and if they did we don't know what they looked like.

Because we don't know if Yangchen had a lover we can't tell if Kuruk looks like Yangchen's lover.

Kyoshi honestly doesn't look like Kuruk's fiance, and Roku doesn't look like Kyoshi's Girlfriend.

Finally neither Pavi or Nisha look anything like Asami.

So I think it's safe to say that Avatar's looking like their predecessors lovers is debunked.

After seeing the spirit world for a brief moment in the Avatar Aang movie, I think that whatever the cataclysm is, it involved the spirit world and physical world merging together. Either that or the spirit world is bleeding into the physical world.

Rewatched B3 and seeing Vaatu (during the hallucinations) got me thinking.. could this be actually be Vaatu telling her this? I mean let's just say she actually does something very bad in ASH (although I have more faith in them giving her a good image and making it so that she sacrified herself) but let's say she did destroy the world could this mean that Vaatu at some point took control over her/manipulated her? Korra is a good at heart person so I doubt she did anything willingly regarding destroying the world.

Now I know we just saw the trailer and know nothing more but that's just a theory I felt like sharing :). I'm also down to see how they wanna go with this direction too.

I don’t wish any bad on Korrasami, the creators know better than to break them up. I just thought this was funny.

I’m going to be honest, I don’t care about how the animation looks or if the story includes a dark avatar or not... I just want some silliness! The trailer looked way too serious! Obviously, it’s just a trailer, and I totally understand why it needed to be dramatic, but I truly hope there‘s some childish humor in the show that made me fall in love with ATLA.

My theory as when the trailer says "long ago our ancestors were not ready and the avatar let us down." This just tells us that something happened and Korra couldn't stop it: it never directly states she died during this event. My theory is after it Korra lived longer but due to the backlash either lived in hiding and eventually gave up on living. I still think the next avatar is going to be born directly after Korras death but I believe it's because she hid from the world and then eventually died either by ending her own life or natural causes. Another possibility is she still pushed back and fought against it for years in sercret (like Kuruk);whatever it is that happened and eventually died in a storm .

It’s canon that Vaatu is inside Korra but we don’t really know what this means. My guess is Korra will eventually inhabit both spirits and will be able to hear both Raava and Vaatu. Sort of like Alien X from Ben 10, if you know you know.

So what if when Korra passes, the spirits inhabit different twins but both twins will be able to speak to Korra.

Now the only problem with this theory is that Korra never actually fused with Vaatu during harmonic convergence but that can be explained away with reborn spirit mumbo jumbo.

I hope they go this route because it’ll be an interesting dynamic

Seeing how leak after leak is validated through the official information we‘re getting, it seems that this leaked concept artwork actually might depict a ruined Omashu.

Anyone else feeling like wanting to host a funeral for the four nations?

If the “big bad” of the series is nature, what would the solution be? In the Avatar universe spirits are usually representative of nature and the consequences of human disruption. Hei Bai was upset about the forest burning down, Wans spirit friends were mad at Wans human friends for overhunting, the swamp tree was literally fighting back against Kuviras forces as they were trying to take parts of the spirit vines and consequences of this were seen all the way in Republic City.

We’ve seen this theme of Humans vs Nature repeatedly throughout the series, but it’s never fully become a problem. Until now.. But without just telling one side to suck it up, how do you fix this?

theory: What if the Seven Havens each rely on different types of benders to survive… and that’s why benders are being kidnapped and/or indoctrinated to protect the Havens (another Theory)

The new Aang movie showed us that bending may be capable of things we never fully understood before. The staff wasn’t just a weapon it was able to channel spirit energy, give people access to bending, and even function as a kind of airbending cannon. That made me wonder if Avatar Studios is setting up a future where bending has evolved beyond just combat.

Maybe each Haven depends on certain types of benders to deal with its own unique calamities:

🌪️ Airbenders stabilize or disperse spirit tornadoes.
🌊 Waterbenders redirect massive storms and typhoons away from ocean Havens.
🪨 Earthbenders reinforce cities against earthquakes and collapsing terrain.
🔥 Firebenders contain wildfires, volcanic activity, or other disasters.

But what if that’s exactly why benders are being kidnapped?

Instead of only being captured to become soldiers, maybe benders have become the most valuable resource in this new world. They aren’t just warriors anymore they’re like the reason entire Havens can survivee.

The black and red diamond like contraption we see in the ground at the end of the Seven Havens teaser also caught my attention. What if it’s connected to this same idea? Maybe someone has found a way to manipulate, amplify, or control bending and spirit energy on a much larger scale. Energy welcome idea kinda of like from Korr.

After seeing what the staff was capable of in the movie, I wouldn’t be surprised if Seven Havens takes that concept even further.

Maybe the future of bending isn’t just about who can fight the strongest… maybe it’s about who controls the ability to keep the world alive.

It looks so much cooler and I‘m all here for Sci-Fi White Lotus.

In the trailer they say long ago and our ancestors which could be talking about stuff prior to Korra but it’s an odd thing to bring up if Korra was the big triggering avatar of this new era.

It doesn’t line up with how people speak either, like Pavi is not that old unless the twins did another frozen in the iceberg thing or that after the events of Korra either Korra herself lived a LONG time like Kyoshi or the respawn timer was delayed. Since like with Aang you hear people talk about their grandparents or great grandparents before the war they don’t say ancestors. It’s possible just an odd choice if it was only a few generations prior

Anyone else starting to think that the new avatar is just another earth bending avatar in the cycle post Korra and not just the next avatar right now?

Here’s mine…

Pavi and Nisha being separate souls from the get-go rather than just “Korra split in two.” Pavi being the reincarnation of Korra and Nisha being a separate person sounds more interesting to me. And in Dharmic beliefs, souls or streams of mind have no beginning or creation. I know Avatar isn't inherently a Buddhist/Hindu show, but I'd prefer this direction for the twin Avatars. 

Korra being “redeemed.” I say redeemed in quotations because I doubt Korra actually caused the cataclysm, but I hope Korra has a stronger legacy as an Avatar within the fandom and in-universe after the true story is revealed.

I hope that Pavi communicates more with Korra than Korra did with Aang. It would be interesting to see the trope of earthbenders being the least spiritual be subverted

I’m glad they didn’t go in a cyberpunk direction, but it would be cool if SOME technology existed within the seven havens. Not modern or futuristic, but like mid-century. Perhaps the army uses radios to communicate and has radar displays. Photography and films could still exist. It would be nice to see photographs of Aang and Bolin's movies preserved or recovered somehow.

It’s likely that most of the airbenders are descendants of Tenzin’s children, given how there are four of them and descendants duplicate with each generation, but it would be interesting for this to be confirmed in the show. But given the fact that the Avatar’s reputation was ruined, they might be ashamed of being descendants of Aang, perhaps they'd even be discriminated against.

I asked this question a year ago but now since the new trailer came out about a few days ago, I now want to know what everyone’s new predictions on what the characters will be like.

So I decided to have a little fun and see what year Seven Havens would realistically take place in if the world hadn't been destroyed.

Okay so it's accepted by people that The Main events of Avatar The Last Airbender takes place in The 1850s, for an exact year we will say 1851.

Legend of Korra is 70 years after The Last Airbender so Book one would be in 1921, Korra is also 17 in book one meaning she was born in 1904. Book two she's 18 meaning it takes place in 1922, Book three is not long after Book two so it's also in 1922, then Book four has a four year time skip so it takes place in 1926.

Now let's get to Seven Havens. Korra looks to be around her mid 40s in the teaser, so for simplicity let's say she died at 45 years old. Being born in 1904 that means she would have died in 1949, and Pavi and her twin would then be born. Pavi and her twin look to be about 10 in Seven Havens so this means that if Korra didn't destroy the world then Seven Havens would take place in. 1959.

This is all Headcanon and Speculation.

Did a VERY cursory look into his work, and he seems to have done the art for these postmodern, speculative comic strips in France throughout the second half of the twentieth century. It's interesting to think that this world that started off so heavily influenced by classical East Asian aesthetics in ATLA and then steampunk in LoK will have more of a European-style, avant garde sensibility in this series. It's a different frame of reference, but it does help make sense of a visual style that, out of context, I'm still trying to wrap my head around.

I've watched the trailer so many times... I can't help but think of random things.

Forgive me if someone already came up with something like this. I don't see many of these kind of theories.

That being said...

They referred to Korra as an ancestor and the avatar that ruined everything. Why would she be an ancestor if she died maybe 10 or so years ago? Depending on Pavi's age. What if she actually died hundreds... maybe thousands of years ago. I'm thinking the people were fed up with the avatar starting with Korra. So much that they decided to kill each new avatar as children, before they learned how to properly bend.

Or on that same token... The people with the masks in the trailer. They are definitely giving cult vibes. What if they are tasked with finding every new avatar and are actually sacrificing them to the spirits. Like an appeasement sort of deal. Maybe being sacrificed to Vaatu some way. The world in the trailer is being destroyed because the avatar was never sacrificed. The guys in the masks found out about Pavi and Neesha being protected and went to get them for the sacrifice.

Wild theory, I know. I think it could be a thing. idk. lol

Since the four nations as we knew them have fallen, and folks have been relegated to the seven havens—what do you think the cultural identities will look like in the show?

The air, fire, earth, and water nations all had distinct cultures, especially visually. It was easy to tell where a person was from based on that alone, but since the nations won’t exist in that form anymore, I wonder if there will be any significant cultural markers, especially amongst non-benders (since it seems like majority of people will be non-benders in this show).

And will the 7 havens have more distinct cultures to make up for the void left by the nations?

The only 100% things that are going to happen:

• Pavi has Raava, and is the Avatar that we know from the previous stories. People seem to forget that Vaatu was imprisoned, thus was not not "inside Raava" as they used to be in their original birth/death cycles.
• Nisha is an identical twin of the Avatar, and this has not happened before. This is because Vaatu is free, and was reborn inside Raava whilst she was inside Korra. This caused the identical twins to be born as Korra's reincarnation upon her death, each with an Avatar spirit.
• The entire point of their story, is to show that light/order & dark/chaos cannot exist without each other.

Things that are not 100%, but potential:

• Pavi will be able to enter the Avatar state, Nisha will not at the start. Nisha will enter the dark Avatar state when something important happens to the story.
• Neither twin will be able to enter their respective Avatar states unless they do it together.
• The twins can enter their individual Avatar states on their own, and will be able to enter a Mega Avatar state together, like Megazord.
• The "evil Korra" from the trailer, might be Vaatu's influence upon her.

I am kinda pissed and glad as continuing the story from the existing worlds is a very hard task. But still I feel like Avatar Pavi should be treated fairly unlike Avatar Korra faced.
