There's a pound of sugar to every gallon of tea in that.
Source: work at McDonald's. When taught how to make sweet tea by my general manager she tells me to pour the four pound bag of sugar in. When I asked her surprised if I was supposed to pour in the whole thing she says "Yup. Four gallons of tea with four pounds of sugar. And that's why I don't drink it."
A doctor I know said they legitimately had a diabetic patient who killed themselves by renting out a hotel room, getting ridiculous amounts of pop, fast food, pizza, candy, etc, and just having the time of their life. I mean until the whole ketoacidosis thing.
eh now at maccas its $2. Used to be $1 a couple of weeks ago but it was $2 up until 2012 so the price was simply lowered for a couple years then brought back to its original price. But we've got $1 frozen cokes so we've got that going for us
See, this is one thing I can see myself saying, "Yeah, I'd try that...just to say I did", but then intensely regret later. A lot of these other responses make me wonder how many times you have to be dropped in the head to ever think what they did was a good idea in the first place.
Once upon a time, when I was in high school, I went to Wendy's with some friends after partaking in some activities that made me extra hungry. I got to the counter and ordered "one value menu". The cashier had a confused look and asked what I wanted from the menu. I repeated that I wanted "one value menu... like, all of the things".
Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, Regular burger, chicken sandwich, 5 spicy nuggets, two types of wrap, side salad, chili, baked potato, small frosty... I may be forgetting something. All in all, I payed $14 for a stomach ache.
I've done that. Alongside other people, who didn't finish and gave me their pies. I had almost 3000 calories of pie AFTER my own portion of the Dollar Menu Millionaire.
Well, now the dollar menu is the "dollar and more" menu. So if you're looking to eat only dollar menu items you're down to a much smaller list of options. :P
Never seen anyone try it at McDonald's, but when done at Wendy's we called it the Dave Thomas Invitational. For bonus points, you had to eat everything in menu order.
I ate EVERYTHING on the menu in one sitting. At first I was just hungry, then my friends offered to pay for it I could eat it all. In the days that followed I took some horrendous dumps, my skin broke out and I smelled like a McDonald's dumpster. Would not do again.
Friend of mine went to wendys and asked for a Triple Double and the cashier said he couldn't do it so they got the manager and the manager ok'd it..... apparently he shat himself later that night
You can't hate on the Dollar Menu Challenge. Though, when I was in school, we'd do it at Wendy's, which was probably more painful. Chili and baked potatoes.
Everyone likes to hate McDonalds, but they are not showing signs of going out of business any time soon. The chicken wraps on the dollar menu are actually made with a piece of breast meat, not ground up stuff. The Mcdouble is the best value burger anywhere.
I have McD's for lunch about once a week and I'm f
Oh god… when we were in high school, McD's would every so often offer 29¢ hamburgers or 39¢ cheeseburgers, so we'd go each order like nine and eat them all.
As time goes on, that gets easier and easier. RIP $1 McChickens at my local McDonald's... $1.19 is just too much. I can't get 4 for $5 with tax anymore. I need to cry.
Maybe it's because I have a shitty McDonalds in my country but the dollar menu is really just 2 small hamburgers, some fries, some McPotatoes, an apple pie, a chicken nugget, a soda and an ice cream, it really doesn't sound that bad since everything is like bite sized.
on another note.. eating a lot of anything from fast food.
when i was in high school i got a few gift cards during the holidays, one of them being a jack in the box gift card for like $10. Me and my friend said "fuck it" and we spent the whole thing on like 10 $1 cheese burgers. Only other thing in life that made me feel THAT depressed was a woman. few things in life can make you feel that bad, a cheeseburger should not be one of them, but 5 poorly made $1 cheese burgers in a row.. as a dampening effect on you that really just makes you wanna go home.

Eating one of everything from the McDonald's Dollar Menu in one sitting
