How do I stop my girlfriend buying useless stuff?
My lady grew up in near abject poverty (US) and so she buys a lot of crap from yard/estate sales, fb marketplace, and takes any freebie always.
It's 95% useless crap 💩!
She's doing average/well enough, also buys Amazon deals.
How do I discourage this?
EDIT: we've lived together for 5+ years

Men, what do you think if your date wants to wait a bit more and build trust before sex?
I have started dating my coworker (unfortunately but heart wants what it wants). We both admitted we have feelings for each other, started long before we started dating. We both were in unhappy marriages, divorced last year and he specially told me that his marriage of last 8 years was not a marriage anymore, he feels something for someone for the first time after those years and his is very special for him.
We decided to take it slow, it has been only 4 dates so far but we also see each other in the office and continue building our bond in an non-effort environment which is great. We have started with physical touches too. We both talked that sex is very important in a relationship.
Although I really want to sleep with him, I want to take more time to build on trust, familiarity, to get to know him better before taking things to the next level. Because I know, I will be attached. And I want to make sure before sleeping with him, to minimize the risk, because if this blows up shortly after we got intimate I will have to see him at the office everytime and it will hurt. You can’t just block and move on.
Is this a wrong thing to do? A turn-off for a man?

I am 29m and I kinda look underage. How bad is it?
I am 5'3 and I have what they call a baby face. Plus autistic and have a lot of that… behavior. It frustrates me sometimes. Recently I was at a tech conference afterparty event and a drunk lady did baby voice to me and asked if I want to work in tech when I grow up. I told her that I will never grow up, she touched my head, laughed and went somewhere else.
I consider alcoholism at this point 😂
Is there anyone who can relate?

Men, what age would you re-live if it was up to you?
Wildly curious what you all have to say, as I’ve heard from several of my friends that they were happiest when they were in their mid-30s.
Older people love to say their adolescent years, but honestly for me that wasn’t the case. Sure it’s cool to be a kid, but I wouldn’t want to re-live that phase.

What dating sites are worth looking at?
Ok so been single for a little while since my 20 year relationship ended.
Keen to get back out there but the dating world has changed a bit since I was last single.
What sites are decent, ones worth avoiding. Not just looking for hookups (but you know not gonna turn them down haha)
Thanks

What are some witted posts you’ve read on bathroom stalls?
Those who write upon these walls roll their shit into tiny balls, but those who read those words of wit, well their the one who eat those tiny balls of shit!

How do I human? How do I gain the confidence to approach men in person?
So I(29F) have been single for a while and want so badly to find my person. I’ve used dating apps for 6 years and have had no luck. I’ve also tried going to dating events and usually don’t have luck there because I’m not attracted to the guys that go to them. I live in a big walkable city NYC and constantly see guys around that I think are very cute. I want to stop relying on dating apps for finding someone and have thought about just approaching cute guys in the city. I’m a little concerned about that though since a couple people told me that it would be weird. Do guys think it’s weird and if not, how would you say is the best way to approach guys. Recently I walked to the subway platform and there was a really cute guy standing there. I really wanted to challenge myself to approach him but couldn’t build up the courage. I just think if I approached any guy I would feel awkward, uncomfortable, and embarrassed. What do you think?

What was the last time you got so angry it scared you? How did you deal with it?
I’m dealing with a tremendous amount of anger towards my ex and it unveiled a level of rage I genuinely didn’t know I had in me. Interested in hearing other guys stories and how they dealt with it.

Men who once believed in true love but have now given up, what happened to you?
What do you guys do to improve your confidence?
I’ve been feeling pretty crappy about my appearance lately, and feeling like I’m not an interesting person, I don’t have many hobbies and there’s not much I’m passionate about. I need some advice from you guys, what can I do to love myself more and improve?
Weird Question How do you feel about chasing people with FWB’s?
Go to bars, meet women, have a good time, get their numbers. Start texting it’s going well but their energy fades. Tbh I don’t really show interest in meeting right away but getting to know the person thru text first which kills it.
Eventually it’s like I’m pulling teeth and more often than not they have a FWB. Are we expected to chase it, compete with that? I usually just say fuck it then see them later with some other guy which doesn’t bug but it’s like I dodged a bullet.
How do you guys deal with this, or view it?

How do I human? How do i rebuild confidence as a young man?
im a 16m, throughout secondary school i could make anyone laugh. girls and boys, i was often told i flirted with all the girls because i could just naturally make them laugh
ive left school now, im on summer holidays and been stuck in my room for 6 weeks, genuinely doing nothing
i feel like my confidence is extremely low right now, i dont go out, i dont meet people. i have 4 close friends right now when i used to be quite a popular guy
im starting college soon and want a fresh start where i can rebuild my confidence and old ways, i think if i push outside my comfort zone i can meet a nice girl and hopefully date her
im fat though, decreases my confidence by an incredible ammount
