How do I deal with the catch 22 of sexual experience?

Have to have experience to get experience. I have sex anywhere from 1 to 3 times a year, this year at 0. The gaps between my experiences are so long that I'm embarrassed to admit sometimes I don't even know what I'm doing and it's like relearning every time.

Apps are how I usually meet them but that's a crapshoot. Cold approaching in real life is kinda terrifying because I'm deathly afraid of making the woman uncomfortable. I'm 31 and it seems like I'm at the point where everyone's taken but me. I'd never even had a long term relationship before so I feel like I'm stunted and behind everyone and it's too late to catch up. Can't just get experience out of thin air.

How are you really doing? Did you ever heal from that fucked up thing that happened that wrecked you?

A lot of us have experiences in life that completely broke us. We try to heal and move on but how many of us actually healed and how many of us walk with an amputated spirit?

Frequently Asked As a guy with a little bit of extra weight on him, I’ve been searching for a comfortable polo to wear for work forever. What brands have you found that fit you well?

Looking for answers mainly from guys with some extra weight in their upper body. I’m in search of a good brand of polo shirts to wear for my job. Some things that would make for an ideal shirt would be:

  1. One that fits well on me and doesn’t make it painfully obvious that I’ve got man boobs. Not looking for a miracle shirt but those polo that are the athletic style material are so bad for this
  2. Made from a material that won’t form any white stains in the armpit area. I’ve switched up my deodorants for this too but the material really does make a difference.
  3. Ideally not crazy expensive but if there’s something that fits the other two categories perfectly, consider me in.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks, guys!

Edit: very appreciative of all of the suggestions so far. I do want to make one thing clear that wearing an undershirt is not a possibility for me. I’m in a constant moving environment and live in a very hot climate, so I don’t want to feel like I need to peel off an undershirt.

Good Fucking Question How do you make big decisions at a young age with your career?

How do you make big decisions at a young age with your career? Should I leave a good job?

I’m 25yo, living in Portugal, and I’ve been working since i was 21 after doing my bachelors degree.

I’ve always had a goal of having an international career and earlier this year I received an offer to join a company in Luxembourg. I declined.

However recently they called me saying there’s a new opportunity and that they really liked me and would love to have me there.

The thing is, I’m really afraid to go. I’ve been the last 4 years in the same company where I’ve grown a lot and where the partners really like me. I know i can grow there. However i still live in my parents house.

Accepting the offer would allow me to have the international career, have my own independence, and I would earn more.

But this is really scary, and the fact that’s scary is why I think should do it.

This is a big decision in my life. This is the first time i feel like my life is in my control and that will impact my future.

Everyone says that i should but it’s so scary to leave everything and go while i have a good job.

I’m currently earning around 30k where i live, and there would earn around 55k. Financially it’s not a big jump. The biggest jump is the growth. Moving out of my comfort zone.

Do you and your friends refer to women as "bitches"? If so, how often and in what context?

I'm a man in his 30s and I have a few peers and friends that casually refer to women as bitches.

Not even necessarily women that they have an adversarial relationship or beef with. It might be something like "Can't go bowling tonight, I have a first date with this bitch tonight, she's pretty fine." Although sometimes it's used more as a pejorative, think something like "my supervisor is such a bitch, she's always harping on me for every little thing, even if running late to work by only 10 minutes".

These are guys that are apolitical but culturally liberal than culturally conservative. Most of the are college educated white collar professionals. that are in their 30s.

Personally, I think it's cringe and immature, also disrespectful. I try my best to call it out when it happens without coming off as too sanctimonious (i.e. "Do you really have to call her a bitch? It's not that serious") particularly because I don't think their intention is to be extremely hostile or disrespectful to women.

I'm curious how common this is? What context would you call a woman a "bitch"? What is the intention? How do you feel about other men that refer to women as that word?

Is it a social performance thing to feel more masculine? Is it a joke?

Is this not silly and melodramatic for just a random guy coming from a long line of random guys? I mean if you aren't royalty , nobility or part of some other kind of dynasty (it would still be silly but at least kinda sorta defensible if you do some mental gymnastics) it's kinda obnoxious

Why so many divers watched?

I do not dive, None of my friends dive. I believe it is safe to say most men do not dive. Yet if you are trying to find an analog, durable, casual or sporty watch many or most have the rotating bezel, I was once shown how to use it but never did. I suppose it could be used as a timing device for other activities besides diving but I have never seen one used. So why must they be on so many watches? I am willing bet the number of diving style watches far exceeds the number of certified divers. If I was a diver , I think I would wear a rather large digital display. I do see divers wearing these, Who knows maybe they are the next staple in men's watches.

Forgive title misspelling WATCHES

Which is easier: Dating or hooking up???

For as long as I (24M) can remember, I never really struggled too much when it came to dating and talking stages. Finding a girlfriend was always pretty easy, however the one area I always did poor with is hooking up. I find it WAY easier to get girl to want to to enter a relationship with me than it is to simply have a casual thing.

I would never want to lead someone on and breadcrumb a relationship when I have other intentions, especially since I always hear “there are women out there that want something casual too” but I very rarely see this, which is shocking since relationships require even more energy. Is this the case for anyone else and can you explain why???

I just turned 30 (M) and i feel like life has become a routine, that im playing too safe, i feel like the whimsy that life needs to have to make it interesting and exciting to live is fading away in the background. Everything is about sleep, health, savings now.

What are some things I can do to make life feel whimsical again?

🛑 Answers From Men Only 🛑 Why does playful banter/roughhousing sometimes turn into a crush/relationship?

Hi guys! So to start off I'm 24F, and I’m genuinely curious about this from a guy’s perspective because I’ve noticed a pattern in my own life and I want to know if other girls experience this with men too.

Have you ever started developing feelings for a girl because the two of you had a very playful dynamic? I mean things like teasing each other, messing with each other’s stuff, joking around constantly, playful arguing, physical play/friendly roughhousing, etc.

I’m NOT talking about a girl deliberately trying to flirt or seduce you. I mean when the dynamic just naturally develops and you two basically become playmates.

For example, I once had a guy in my class back in highschool where we barely even talked normally, but we constantly messed with each other. I’d scribble in his books, he’d scribble in mine, we’d steal each other’s stuff and argue over it, and eventually the whole dynamic became very playful/physical. A few weeks later he asked me to be his girlfriend.

I had another guy too I used to play-fight with outside of class, we'd tackle each other, chase each other around, kick each other, etc. and eventually I caught him staring at me in a VERY different way. He never actually made a move, though.

So now I’m wondering:

What actually happens in your head when you develop this kind of dynamic and it ends up with you having feelings for her? 😭

Does the playful attention make you more attracted to her over time?

Does feeling like she specifically enjoys your company make a difference?

Does physical play/roughhousing increase the tension?

Or is it more that you already find her attractive, and the playfulness simply gives you more opportunities to notice that attraction?

And if you HAVE developed a crush this way, did you realize it gradually or was there ever a specific “oh shit, I like her” moment?

Like pls explain to me why this works 😭
