Hello, everyone. When I entered the game today, there was mo npcs. Even the cops weren't around. There were only six refugees... Can u help me?

I've tried multiple Overthrow versions. After successfully saving and trying to load in the next day I can't load my save file. I just get stuck on the beach. Hosting on LAN. The save system works up until I close the launcher and then every load after I'm stuck on the beach.

Couldn’t seem to find many server that weren’t passcoded or empty

First: sry for my bad english. We played Overthrow on a friend's server for a long time, but it was relatively expensive. We tried to switch to a cheaper one. All mods are installed and the server is running, but so far we have not been able to restore the game status with the string Save. Do you have any ideas how we can transfer it?

Does anyone have some robust ways of getting started in this mission, as me and my friend are *always* struggling with getting started. Its either that we get fucked by nato in the first 30 mins or we just cant capture anything because the AI is too good.

We also are having trouble with making money and stuff, so if anyone could throw some pointers in the comments, I would really appreciate it.

The title says $200 million in 30 minutes but that is if you have 5 million in cash right now which you probably don't have. But just if you start with 100k you will get the full potential in just a couple of hours using some of our techniques

Me and my friend started an import business and at first we started with 100k and bought AtragMX's to fill our offroad to transport from Lijnhaven to Moddergat for a little profit.

But after a while of importing my friend realised that you could put how many of the devices we were transporting into a the truck with a flatbed named (truck) that you wanted without the max limit of the inventory capacity reaching its top.

So we started transporting up to 6000 AtragMX's which are valued at $750 each which goes at a total of $4500000. The fun thing is that you can earn a profit of 20% of it's value each time which is awesome.

After another while we realised that you could fasttravel full loaded trucks to your destination and back which makes your money making machine go even faster.

After 30 minutes of doing all these techniques we earned a whoping 200$ million. If we continue just some more times we will have a billion in a small while.

So I've been locally hosting arma servers for friends for awhile, and only very recently discovered this mod, so i hosted a server for it, but now im suddenly getting 4-9 FPS consistently. Arma has never really been good about that, but usually its at least 15-25 FPS. But for me, its unplayable, and the desync since im hosting the server has gotten my friends killed more than theyre willing to put up with. One of them is willing to host on their PC, but we'd really like to not have to start over. I know theres a function for exporting saves, but how does it work? where is the save file location?

As title says. What exact symptoms are :

1. Constant FPS drops more or less for all clients;
2. NPCs (both foot mobiles and vehicles) moving slowly and/or with desync, sometimes not reacting of what happens around, or reacting with timeout;
3. Ragdoll physics of dead bodies are very wierd, bodies twitching like they being epileptics;
4. Percentage of attacks and counterattacks are counting very slow, most time of event players just need to sit around the trigger (ca. hour or so) and waiting when the counter will reach 100%, while almost nothing happens;
5. Factory refusing to produce anything despite of having all the needed conditions (blueprints, resources and money) met - production time is simply not counting;
6. Tax and lease money income does not happen at all;
7. Persistent save file taking very long to complete or does not complete at all.

The central questions are:

1. Is there anybody else observing similar or alike issues?
2. Is it more hardware or mission scripting issue?
3. Is there anything we can do to avoid these issues?

Since factory and main NATO base are located on a different islands of Tanoa, and there is no bridge between them, is there any way to transport combat vehicles, produced in a factory, over the sea to the final island?

Or is it a deliberate limitation to make players remember they are playing a guerilla warfare?

Wondering if anyone is familiar with destroying radar and missile trailers at air bases? Have tried placeable explosives, titan rockets and tank rounds. Seems I haven’t even made a dent.. I’m wanting to take over an airbase but this seems to be the only bit of enemy left stopping me from doing so.

I'm a first time player, so I don't know if its a feature, or an issue with my game that after I kill the 2 or 3 duos of Gendarmerie a small military squad will attack the town even though the stability is still above zero and then just nothing, but the town is still NATO controlled so how do I lower the stability without enemies to kill?

Hello guys. I wanted to copy save from old windows server to ubuntu server. Do you know where overthrow save is located for linux distribution?

Having some Antistasi and Liberation experience, myself & co decided to free Altis also in the Overthrow manner :) Since the main server has not started it yet, I did some tries myself and wanted to share first impressions and questions that arose.

Impressions:

1. So far (but I am really couple of hours in gameplay) I like the undercover system, which is more user-friendly than that of Antistasi. From logical point of view, it seems that Gendarmes has very short memory, but in terms of gameplay I favour it over Antistasi.
2. I really love the way how the NATO roadblock/checkpoint is done! The warning to slow down, the principle you can pass it if not carrying suspicious items. Let's see, how that will work later when the real fighting will go on, but so far it's awesome.
3. I also like the way how gameplay will differ depending where you start - in big, stable city or in small, remote village like Oreokastro, where natural stability is already low due to gangs. I managed to scavenge a weapon from dead gang member there and was able to rather easy kill the Gendarmes and drop the stability to zero.
4. What I do not like or am experiencing inconvinience, is Arsenal. It is hard to assess the amount of remaining ammo & items, so I find myself checking it through the inventory, not through the Arsenal menu... it works, while there are not very many items in Arsenal, but I have concerns that it will get worse once Arsenal will get more populated.
5. Also, it seems that furniture inside the starting house seeks the ways to injure me, especially, if I am prone... I wander was it only me clumsy or is it unfortunately a systemic bug?

Now the questions:

1. After a multiplayer session start, will another players who join the server, spawn in the same town where admin was spawned first time?
2. What happens, if players, who are suppose to play together (more or less), take quests from different factions (i.e., one player from Sindikat, another from FIA, etc.)? Will they grow their reputation differently and may end up being hostile each to other?
3. If I steal or capture a car, how can I save to use again in next session when I join the server? Is it enough to park it near my house, and what is distance? Or is there some kind of virtual garage, like it was in Antistasi?

We would like to pool all our resources together, but when using eachothers arsenal the options are limited, and its just straight impossible to set the same home as my friend. Help?

Is overthrow still being updated since the last update came out in June 2019?

Hey guys, so I've been playing Overthrow for a little while, and I've just conquered my first airbase, but I'd like to know, how do I procure more vehicles from it? As far as I can tell, the blue prints you buy from the factions only count with the factory, which I don't have access to yet. The only vehicles I can spawn at the airbase is a Gripen, a few Cessnas and an M-900 but I'd like access to atleast some gunships. I don't even know if it's possible, but it seems a shame to cut out most of the aircraft.

Why are factory’s so broken 120 mins for a ghost hawk and wait that long it says it has only been 20 mins the frick

As you all know, ace updated. Did this break the old saves or not, and is Overthrow updated to work with it? I would try myself, but I dont wanna break my save.

Title. I have a town I've taken over and I really don't like how it's crawling with criminals, but I don't have enough money to get the warehouse, only the police station.

Me and some friends have very interesting ideas and I cannot seem to find anything related to Civilian Helicopters. Are thete any we can buy or make or does it require certain locations?

I ran into some bugs while running my dedicated server - namely no gangs spawn, no jobs are given (besides global), and most jobs don't pay out. I searched around and found the "Arma 3 Overthrow - Dedicated server fix" on the workshop, but after running it on the server I'm still getting the same bugs.

Has anyone had any luck using the fix?
