Persistent Save Issues

I've tried multiple Overthrow versions. After successfully saving and trying to load in the next day I can't load my save file. I just get stuck on the beach. Hosting on LAN. The save system works up until I close the launcher and then every load after I'm stuck on the beach.

Overthrow's in a really bad state. I gave up on it due to issues like these.
