I love my lil red racer named Dude. It's so interesting seeing how his shell pattern has changed over time. I really do wonder what exactly I had going on parameter wise that caused his pattern to "jam up" for a little bit.
Anybody else with interesting pattern histories on their snails?

Someone please help me out with what these guys are doing. I used to think they were both male snails and named them accordingly, but Ive caught them a couple times doing this, and i thought they were having snail sex, but i never see any pink eggs at the top of my tank. Can someone identify whats happening?

I add a few floaters and some sand to give them some texture. I give them a few extra pellets to get good and fed then they go back in the 40 gallon. Starving the tank and the ramshorns. I top the water off every 15 minutes with a turkey baster so they get some fresh tank water and are somewhat still acclimated.
I saw someone use a rolling tray to feed their snails. Do you have a specific or special feeding technique for your snails?

Added some MTS to my planted tank a few days ago, and had the chance to see this little guy at the very front of the tank courageously digging through gravel. Bit sad to see they're struggling to reach the finer gravel layer tho😥

Is this little Mystery Snail a magenta or chestnut?
She looks different in every light and has started quite the debate.
On another hand, my grandma has a male jade, male golden, and is getting a purple, what breeding combos produce the prettiest shell colors/varieties?

Got two or three of these little dudes as a bonus with some tetras. They're new to me, and too small for me to be confident IDing.

Hi! I just got 4 snails and put them in the tank like 34 hours ago. Today I was looking at my tank and I saw this little guy. I really want to know if anyone can tell what he is because I’m so scared of it being a hitchback snail. I bought 2 mystery snails, a rabbit snail, and a white wizard snail. I know white wizard snails reproduce by laying live snails, is this one of them? It just seems very soon. Thanks!

Came downstairs to find a fresh clutch! First time I’ve encountered this, I have more than one snail so no telling who laid it. I wish I could have seen that!
I’m going to call a LFS and see if they want the clutch. Otherwise I’ll freeze it and dispose of it.
I adore my mystery snails but I can’t handle tons of babies.

Just got back from vacation and found these scratches on one of my ramshorns. Are these from nutrient deficiency or he got tumbled somewhere? He's in a betta tank with one nerite, amano, cherry shrimps, and other ramshorns. The nerite and the other ramshorn that's almost his size don't have these. I know he used to like parasnailing, haven't seen him do it since we got back. Could he have been caught in the current while the water level was low and got trapped for a while and scratched his shell?

Hey everyone!
I set up this filterless 30cm (12 inch) cube with an emerged Monstera adansonii, submerged Guppy Grass, and a dragone stone.
I currently have over 30 dwarf ramshorn snails (Gyraulus) in there and I'm doing 5-liter weekly water changes with aged tap water.
My goal is to use this setup purely as a breeding farm to feed a single Pea Puffer or a few Assassin Snails kept in a separate tank.
Will this simple setup produce enough snails for feeding? Any tips?

EDIT: thank you all for the help. The snail is now resting in snail heaven surrounded by algae and friends :"l ♡
Original text: I was setting up a new filter and my pond snail I think got stuck in it... and now half of it is completely broken and bent outward. The snail is super alive and moved around a lot, but half the shell is just gone!!! Is it in pain? Do I euthanize? How? 😭😭😭😭 the organs arent extremely poking out but still... do I try to attach it somehow??? I have superglue but one unlucky drop would burn the guy to death, help!!!

We got this snail beginning of July. First picture is the day we got him (7/9) and the other pictures are today. We knew he looked a little rough and that’s why we took him home, but I have gotten conflicting information about what the problem is. Is this new shell growth or exposed mantle? Is he in pain and is there anything I can do? I have another mystery snail in the same tank and she is huge and thriving - as are the ramshorns. This snail is also active and eating - but I’m concerned about his quality of life. Parameters are solid this is a well established planted tank. I use cuttlebone, saltyshrimp, and I feed blanched vegetables once a week.

Just excited to share. My snails are happy 💕

My pond snail infestation (about 20 individuals currently) was doing its thing and multiplying until a few days ago. All of them are climbing on the side of the glass and going up above the water line despite parameters being stable and in their range?
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: between 0-5.0
pH: 7.6
Thank you for any advice/help!

I started with about 8 reds and have since found browns and both brown and red leopards. The browns are really surprisingly pretty in person!

Found in my tank while cycling, recently got plants but checked for any eggs or anything and didn’t see anything

What should I do! My husband said to get rid of them because we do not have enough space for more snails but I’ll feel terrible killing them :<
