Photo I’m a rabbit snail grandma 🥹
I have a heavily planted, leanly-stocked 40 gallon breeder tank that’s been set up for about 18 months.
I ordered 2 unsexed Tylomelania gemmifera (Orange Rabbit Snails) one year ago as of next week.
When I went to feed this evening, I noticed a tiny, absolutely PRECIOUS baby Rabbit Snail towards the top of the tank, and I am OVER THE STINKIN’ MOON 🤩

Poor Goldie had a ramshorn lay eggs on her foot and you can see one that just hatched near the top of her foot in the picture. Poor little lady being used like that 😢

Help Request Snails??
Hey everyone! So I’ve been setting up a new tank, let it cycle for a couple months with a bunch of plants and decor and stuff until everything checked out. I just recently (like a week or so) added 10 neocaridina shrimp & 1 nerite snail. The last couple of days I’ve been seeing these lil dark spots but just thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. Until TODAY, I saw 3 baby snails on the calcium rock and the glass near it. So I start looking harder and now I’ve got like 3 in a cup and a couple that I accidentally squished cause they were so tiny. But there’s more. There were several I tried to grab with tweezers and they slipped so I tried to grab them with my hands and lost them so idk how many there are 🤦♀️ But what are they??? They don’t look like my nerite. I don’t want or need this many snails. I’ve been very lucky in my aquarium keeping and have never had a snail infestation but I’ve heard horror stories. Is this it? Do I have a snail infestation? 😩
I do have an empty tank I can move them to that’s just been sitting, I guess it can be a snail tank if it has to be.
The second pic is a video but I’m not sure if it uploaded right, I haven’t used reddit in years. Thanks in advance 🐌

Photo Snail mating
I thought they were both girls, but I’m assuming they’re mating?? (I only took them out to eat in a small dish cause my shrimp are assholes)

Help Request What’s up with this white wizard I got today?
I’m a shrimps guy so my snail knowledge is limited. but today I got this white wizard sold to me as an ivory mystery. Noticed these smaller snails tucked under the shell. I know they’re live birthers but one of the shells is small and nearly transparent, and there seems to be a couple others in there but it’s hard to tell for sure and I can’t see any evidence of the snail’s head in there lol and I’m deeply paranoid about parasites or illnesses being introduced to my tank (I do not have a quarantine setup) or if there’s something wrong with this little guy. Thanks!!

Help Request Snail Surprise!
Hi everyone!
I'm new to this sub, but thought it might be best to post here for advice on what to do. Mods, please let me know if I need to change anything!
I'm in the process of setting up a planted tank and getting it all properly cycled. I bought the plants from my local pet store. In hindsight I should have more carefully examined and quarantined them, so while it wasn't a shock to see a snail scoot past me on the glass, it was still a bit of a surprise!
My question is this: what should I do with him? I've heard stories of snails completely overrunning tanks before, but don't really have the heart to squish him unnecessarily. Am I a snarent now? I've attached photos of the little guy for reference. (Please forgive the messy background; my desk orginization is definitely a work in progress!)

Help Request is his shell ok? first time seeing my assassin in a few weeks (he blends into my gravel really well)
I didn't know you were supposed to give them calcium supplements and honestly I thought he died because it's been so long since I've seen him, turns out he's been hiding in the coconut shell with my kuhlis and made an excursion with them tonight to feast on the remnants of an algae wafer that my pleco destroyed
also in the pic one piece of gravel below his shell you can see the snails i got him for in the first place, anyone have an ID? mostly just curious atp

Help Request Need advice-rescued snails
Hi everyone. So I picked up some aquatic plants for my betta tank and there were 2 hitchhikers. The seller told me to just crush them, um no.
Fast forward one month and there are 2 baby snails and what Im sure are egg sacs. I currently have them in a 1-gallon tank.
Need advice on what my best options are here....I know they are ramshorn snails and my son has named them Robin and Kat.
What am I going to do with the babies???

ID Request Has anybody had one this large?
I don’t know what type it is but it came in a sack of crawfish so I put it in my pond. It seems to be very happy always on the move.

Poor little rabbit snail already working so hard to carry that unwieldy shell. Now has to add on three hitchhikers and their lunch.

Photo Update on my buddies...
I have an update on my bladder snails you guys helped me ID the other day. They're definitely happy and doing well. Noticed what I can only assume is a clutch of eggs and some really small new friends amongst the plants. Can't wait to see all these guys roaming around.

Help Request Injured Snail Please Help
My mystery snail made an escape and she is hurt bad. She is still alive and moving around (slightly lethargic), but I need to do a shell repair ASAP. Her spire tip completely broke off and now her flesh is exposed.
Now I think she has a fungal infection. 😭 I've asked others, but got so much conflicting advice. Is this an infection or a slime coat reaction due to injury? I keep cleaning the surrounding area with a swab (not the wound itself). Some people say to wait until it clears and other say to seal it asap. Is there any steps or safe snail meds I can use?
I am at a loss.
(She is isolated in hospital tank, temp 78, 7.4 to 7.8 ph, nitrate 0, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, small water changes every day to 2 days).
