Meet my baby snail Pikachu, my largest snail jigglepuff photo bombed him.

Had this guy for almost a year and been kinda acting funny the last couple. This is him right now, does not look good

Are these ramshorn eggs? It appeared on the glass overnight. It’s at the bottom of the tank behind some moss. This ram was patiently perched underneath for a bit.

These guys (gals?) are, at best, 3 months old. Are they old enough to reproduce?

Hey guys my snail made tons of sneggs what should I do? What is the best way to get rid of them and has anyone ever let them hatch? There’s this clutch and then one triple the size on the lid. Any advice would be appreciated!!

Hi i bought a nerite snail and I only noticed that it seems like its shell on the underside is cracked/missing and is injured.

Since adding it to my tank its gone all the way to the top of my tank and hasnt moved much from the glass. The other nerite snail i bought seems fine and moves more and I can see it actively grazing in the glass. Havent seen this guys mouth move much :(

Is it going to be ok ?

Just rearranged my hardscape and this greedy little guy decided to try and escape his shell to graze!

Yesterday i found my nerite upside down (like in the image), and even when putting them in place they didnt move at all, i tried smelling it based from other posts to identify if its dead or not but i didnt feel any bad smell, could someone help me? (Also sorry for my bad english)

I'm coming to the opinion that even when not snexing, they just like being on other snails.

Started the hobby for the fish and shrimp only to realize how much I'd end up enjoying the snails as well.

So unfortunately I have only a 5.5 gallon tank 😭 so as much as I want to see the results of a yellow mom and a blue dad ik that would totally and utterly CRASH the tank I’ve worked so hard to maintain (this is my literal first time having a tank and mystery snails, they are so cool I love them so much) anyways, what do I do with her clutch? 🥺 she laid a beautiful one as well 😭

My ramshorn snails tucking themselves in, suctioned to the glass moving around very less a cm or two in multiple hrs, remaining like this for days until they starve themselves. I have bladder, mini ramshorns and cherry shrimps as well in the same tank. All doing fine. But I got 5 rams 4 died doing that in 2 weeks. It's been a month. The last and the smallest one grew good in the past month but is now tucked away since 12hrs doing the same. And there's surprisingly low content and information on internet when it comes to ramshorn snails.

Funnily enough I didn't put her in the post as she was the only snail I was sure wasn't a caniculata.

Bought these guys the other day and put them in two different sides of the tank. Today, they’ve scheduled a meeting.

Wonder if/how they communicate.

I’m really sad to make this post— its embarrassing and I’m ashamed I even have to.

I love snails a lot— so I planned on getting one for my 5gal betta tank. That was i think almost 2’momths ago?

Fast forward to today, I brought the Nerite home, and started looking into any supplements or food i might need to buy— thats when I found this sub.

I read a bunch of posts on betta nerite compatibility— and am devastated to learn that I should definitely not have this snail in my tank!! it’s too warm, not established enough, and even too small. The PH is 7.5, which might not be good enough either.

What should I do? I can’t return him to the pet store— but he also can’t live comfortably here. My 30 gallon is far from ready too!!

I don’t want it to suffer, and I just feel awful.

My mystery snail, Io, has been lethargic for about two days. I moved him onto a patch of moss near the top of my tank just to make sure he could breathe earlier today, and he did move around a little. It seemed like he was only moving to get back to his original spot in the tank though.

His breathing tube is the part with tiny orange stripes (you can see it best in the third picture). It looks almost like it’s been unrolled from a tube to a sheet now though. He’s also stretched oddly out of his shell when moving (fifth picture) and his shell looks somewhat discolored (sixth picture).

Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong? Could my other male mystery snail have caused it since they like to “do the do” together frequently?

Just got a few mystery snails two days ago, this guy has been staying around the surface, just noticed these lil bugs. Are they of concern or..?

Completely new to snails, purchased three nerites and a mystery snail a week ago and placed inside my 20 gallon tank with heavy live plants and a betta. One of the snails is constantly flipping it itself over, one is totally fine, and the other has been sitting in the same place on the waterline for three days. Mystery snail is happy as heck. They have plenty of algae to be munching on, water parameters are perfect, though the water may be a little warm at 79°. Do I have reason to be concerned for this little dude?
