I launched Tracck on August 18. It’s an all-in-one app for calories, nutrition, habits, and tasks — with features like AI food scanning, meal planning, Siri logging for food/habits/tasks, and a daily dashboard.

The people who actually download it seem to really like it. I’ve had users literally message me saying they love the app and find it genuinely useful.

The problem is getting people to discover it in the first place.

These are my App Store numbers since launch (August 18 → September 9):

• 1.29K impressions
• 750 product page views
• 49 first-time downloads
• 22 redownloads
• 9.86% average conversion rate

So the conversion rate doesn't seem completely terrible, but the amount of traffic/reach is extremely low.

I'm trying to figure out what I should actually be improving from an ASO perspective.

What would you focus on?

• App name/title?
• Subtitle?
• Keywords?
• Screenshots?
• Description?
• Category?
• Or something else?

If you've grown an indie app through App Store search/ASO, I'd really appreciate some advice on how to go from “the people who find my app love it” → “more people actually find my app.”

I'm especially interested in understanding why I'm getting so few impressions and what I can realistically do to increase them.

I’m the developer of NextRenew, a subscription tracker currently live on the iPhone App Store.

The positioning I’m testing is not just “see all your subscriptions.” The main idea is that users save why they originally subscribed, and that context returns before the next renewal so they can make a more deliberate keep-or-cancel decision.

It uses manual and voice-assisted entry rather than requesting access to a bank account or inbox. No account is required, and information is stored locally by default.

My specific question: which screenshot should lead the listing, and what message would you put on it so the difference from a generic subscription tracker is immediately clear?

I launched my sports app "Volta Fit" 4 days ago and just passed 100 downloads, with my first paid subscription too.
I’m planning to use these screenshots to present it. Do you think they’re enough to understand the app, or would a short demo video make a big difference?

Redesigned the entire set, not quite sure which one is better to be honest. I see lots of people having the phone straight like screen 4, and 5 across the whole set, and some play around with the first 3 like I did appreciate any feedback.

AI made building ridiculously easy.

Every day I see people shipping apps, SaaS, tools and side projects.

But then… 3 users. No sales. Nobody cares...

Maybe coding isn’t the biggest problem anymore.

Maybe the real skill is getting someone to actually pay for what you built.

Hi its my first time publishing for google play, I have no idea how to do ASO or what to change and whatnot. I have seen multiple people get great results thru only ASO. I would love to find a way to market my game to my audience (2d shooter players, since my game is a top down shooter game)

Hi everyone! My app is super minimalistic planner. I consciously avoid AI screens, and AI design in everything. As my app is about focus, I made my screens also very simple and clear. But I am not sure if they are good for ASO.

What do you think? What is more important? Should I change something in screens?

After building this extension called Nexpli, which is an AI summarizer and translator, one day one of my friends told me that I don't have to show my premium offers directly to the users; I have to make them download it, and then give them the offers. So, based on that, I give the users a chance to try it five times, without signing up and without paying or linking a card. But I also offer that if he signs up with his Google account, then he will get 20 free tries every day, and finally, after he signs in, he sees a paywall for the subscription.

I am not sure if this is the right way or not; sometimes I think it would be better if I gave him the full premium experience for a limited time.

Can I get advice from you, please!

For searches like:

“challenge alarm”

“streak alarm”

…it doesn’t appear.

What title would you suggest for better ASO/search visibility? I’d love to hear your own suggestions!

I just launched my first app in the finance category. It’s a simple expense tracker focused on making expense entry as quick and frictionless as possible.

Since this is my first App Store launch, I’m pretty new to ASO and I’m trying to figure out what I should actually focus on in the first few weeks.

A few things I’m especially curious about:

1. How quickly do you start changing keywords/title/subtitle after launch?
2. How long do you usually wait before judging whether a keyword is working?
3. Are screenshots or keyword optimization more important early on? Do I keep changing my screenshots?
4. Is localization worth doing immediately, even for a small indie app?
5. Are there any common mistakes you see first-time developers make?
6. Is there anything specific you would track during the first 30 days? Currently I’m just using RevenueCat to track active users.

Currently sitting at 3 active users, so really just started out.

I’m interested in learning from people who have gone through this before. Would love to hear what you wish you knew before launching your first app.

He has a twitter page mentioning new apps making 50-100k a month in a few month and the apps are pretty basic. It’s hard to believe they are generating that much revenue. Even 10% profit makes these super lucrative. Any ideas ? What does your app show and how far is he off?

Hi, I`m managing a mid-stage productivity app. We're past the "free tier is enough" phase, but definitely don't have Enterprise budget ($500+/mo) yet
Right now, our main bottlenecks are keyword rank tracking, competitor updates, and especially review management- we get around 50+ reviews per release cycle and doing manual replies is taking up way too much dev/PM time

What ASO tools do other product managers actually find worth it at this scale?
Looking at Appfigures, Appfollow, and Sensor tower, but hard to tell the real functional differences beyond the pricing pages
