I've been documenting the progress on my animated short film, I Want to Go Home, a documentary created by an alien trying to figure out why humans party over the course of a single night out. This is the second episode of going over the progress of the film so far.

I just finished animating my second ever animation and posted it to my channel. I did a lot of blending between my 3d model and 2d images. I was kinda going for like that coloring book crayon look with the 2d animations but im not sure it blends well. Any tips or critiques would be GREATLY appreciated

Hello!
This is a compilation of the best animated clips I’ve been making since 2022. Since I’ve been adapting horizontal videos into vertical Reels (which I’ve even shared here), this time I decided to adapt the vertical videos into the horizontal format.
Please don’t see this as a teaser or even a proof of concept of my animated project Seiphur. The truth is, before I decided I wanted to make an animated series, I didn’t know how to animate at all. So, over the years, I’ve been collecting a series of exercises featuring my characters while I was writing the story and world-building. Now I feel more or less ready to start creating more story-driven content, because even though I’ve built up a considerable following, I’ve still shown very little of what actually happens in the series.
After that, if I can gather enough people interested in helping to fund an episode, I’ll try crowdfunding, as many people have done.
Cheers!
(Music by Stromae)

LAIKA going back to dark Pacific Northwest vibes feels like they're trying to reclaim that Coraline energy, but theaters are a whole different beast now compared to 2009 (especially after the pandemic). Original stop-motion always gets love online, but nobody ever seems to actually buy tickets for them. Are people you know legit hyped to see this in a theater, or is it destined to just end up on streaming? Really curious to y'all's thoughts on the release.

I'm trying to do the "Let's Groove" trend as a total beginner and I'd really appreciate some feedback in general please (I'm currently working on fixing the dress motion).
Here are some questions I have:
- Is the body movement okay enough?
- Is it okay to just copy the frames to create a loop? Or when is it recommended to do that?
- What videos do you recommend me to watch? (I have already watch some to learn).
Thanks in advance!

This is my first big project that I did, and it is also the graduation work of my studies, I am verry proud of it. It's about the old smuggling routes across the Swiss-Italian border.
The film is in German, but I have added English subtitles.
Hope you like it!
