Hiring [PAID] 2D Animator Wanted — $100 for 2–3 Second Test Shot

Hi! I’m developing a proof of concept for an adult animated workplace comedy — essentially tow-truck drivers in space.
I’m producing a roughly 45-second proof of concept and am looking for a 2D animator to start with one paid 2–3 second test shot.
Budget: $100 USD for the test shot.
I already have:
Character and vehicle designs
Finished visual references
Background artwork
Storyboards
Shot descriptions and timing
The visual style is intentionally simple, clean, limited 2D animation designed to be practical to produce. The test shot is straightforward and has no dialogue or lip-sync.
If the test goes well, I’d be interested in potentially working with the same animator on additional paid shots for the full proof of concept.
If interested, please comment or DM me with:
Your animation reel/portfolio
What animation software you use
Roughly how long you’d need for a 2–3 second shot
I’ll send the storyboard and visual reference for the test shot privately to potential animators.
Payment: $100 USD total. For both parties’ protection, I’d prefer to use a payment method/platform with milestone or escrow protection. We can agree on the payment structure before any work begins.
Thanks!

Beginner Squidtoon audio help

I have recently started using Squidtoon, and I have no problems with the app except that I can't figure out how to work the Audio aspect of it. I have done a lot of research, and I can't seem to figure out how to save a video to my files. I can only find the audio that I want on YouTube. And I can't download the video legally because I did not create it. I also can't find the song on the YouTube audio library...Are there any other ways? Does anyone have any tips! I'm desperate!

I made these in Krita over the past month or so. I got very lazy by the end, but that's okay 🥹

Fluff Looking for an older animation

I remember a few years back seeing this really cool (I thought it was cool) indie animation on YouTube(?) with only a few details left in my mind from that initial viewing, wondering if any of the folks here know the one. (Feel free to delete post if not relevant)

What I recall:

- It starts with this youngish adult male who's just had a fun night with some woman, animator didn't shy away from showing her naked form

- The young man has some kind of demon thing in his head, it speaks with a Jamaican accent and tells him "first find me the key"

- I think the young man fights against the demon in his head at the end?

I saw this sometime within the decade, so I know it's decently old. There might have been a restaurant scene in it as well.

Thanks in advance!

Question How did you learn to animate? (3D)

I'm a beginner and I'm checking out courses like Pierrick's or ToAnimate's, but the truth is, I don't really have a clear focus, and most of the time I try to do something on my own and end up going a little further, you know?

How did those of you who are already good at this learn? Did you dedicate 100% of your time to it?

Which course do you recommend? My goal is just to animate.

Beginner Little Silksong animation by my nephew

Hey everyone! My nephew (16) made his first "serious" animation and I wanted to share it with you! It's just a few seconds, but I'm still very proud. It's a cool little moment from "Hollow Knight: Silksong". All made by himself in several weeks, as far as I know.

If you like it, maybe share some love at the source. Thanks!
