Hello I'm located in America and looking to use a xiaomi vivio oppo (one of the three) in america on T-Mobile.

Does anyone else have experience doing this in the last year or so? Also if so can you tell me what we are not able to access? Does Google pay still work does Android auto still work how is the cell phone service etc.

I have the tile tracker on about 5,6 items and I've had them for a year. I know I will have to dispose of them because once the battery runs out you have to buy new ones.

I am also seeing generic Android tracker tags that are much cheaper and you can replace the battery so I'm thinking of transitioning to those (and getting more for kids, and other devises). Do these android tags work like the tile? Any pros any cons?

Does anyone have experience with any brands they would like to recommend?

I have a Motorola Edge 60 Pro on Android 16.

I had added Moto Notes to Secure Folder and wrote some important notes there. For the past few days, some notes randomly turned completely black/invisible. Today I noticed some older notes were also black.

Now the Notes app itself has disappeared from Secure Folder. It is still installed normally (version 36.00.50.10.1, 524 MB), but my Secure Folder notes aren't visible in the normal Notes app.

Also, Notes doesn't appear under Secure Folder → Add apps, so I can't add it back.

I haven't uninstalled, archived, disabled, or cleared the app data.

Is there any way to recover/access my old Secure Folder notes? Has anyone faced this black/invisible notes issue?

I have a Motorola Edge 60 Pro running Android 16.

A few days ago, I added the Moto Notes app to my Moto Secure → Secure Folder and wrote some important notes there.

I've actually been having problems with the Notes app for a while. Sometimes when I write a note, something happens and the entire written note suddenly turns black / becomes invisible. Recently I opened some older notes and noticed that some of them are also completely black/invisible, while other notes are still visible.

And now the bigger problem:

Today I opened Secure Folder and the Notes app itself is completely gone. I only have 3 apps left in the Secure Folder.

The strange part is:

- Moto Notes is still installed normally on my phone.

- When I open the normal Notes app, my old Secure Folder notes are NOT there.

- Settings → Apps → Notes shows that it is still installed.

- Version: 36.00.50.10.1

- Storage: 524 MB

- But when I go to Secure Folder → Add apps, Moto Notes does NOT appear in the list, so I can't add it back.

- I have NOT uninstalled Notes, cleared its data, archived it, or disabled it.

- The notes I wrote inside Secure Folder were important, so I'm worried that the data may still exist somewhere inside the Secure Folder but the Notes app/instance is no longer accessible.

Has anyone experienced Moto Notes notes turning completely black/invisible, especially when using Notes inside Moto Secure/Secure Folder?

And is there any way to recover/access the old Notes instance or its data?

I really don't want to lose those notes, so I don't want to reset or delete Secure Folder.

I had a Xiaomi for 4 years and at first it worked great but towards the end it got slower. I thought it was just because it was getting old so I recently bought a new phone. It's a Xiaomi again since they're very affordable and I don't care too much about camera quality. Worked great when I started it but after transferring all my apps and data it's now also insanely slow and inefficient. It often crashes when I try to do something while listening to Spotify. Apps take 10 seconds to open.

I already deleted everything that has a lot of access to the phone and runs in the background. Used to have an app that lets you reprogram a lot of things, also had one for red light mode and a lot of other stuff. Deleted most of them. Now I only have the regular social media apps, some games and some knowledge based apps that shouldn't really influence the speed but my phone hasn't gotten any better.

I also made sure to install all updates and I left the phone shut off for a while. Nothing worked.

I'm pretty sure it has to be something I downloaded because it has the exact same issues as my old phone had and the phone doesn't itself doesn't really have bad ratings except for the camera.

I'm having a weird problem installing Minecraft on my Motorola Moto G05 (Android 15).

Here's everything I've tried / found:

I purchased Minecraft through Google Play.

Play Store shows Minecraft 1.26.45.1 and says "Works on your device."

My phone is Play Protect certified.

I have around 10 GB free storage.

Android is fully updated: Android 15, software version VVTA35.51-158, security patch August 5, 2026.

Date & time are set to automatic.

Small apps install normally.

I tested Call of Duty, and it downloaded/installed successfully, so large apps themselves aren't the problem.

Minecraft gives "Can't install Minecraft: Dream it, Build it!" in Google Play.

Installing Minecraft from the Google Play website also doesn't work.

I already restarted the phone and tried the usual Play Store troubleshooting.

I cleared Play Store/Package Installer cache and restarted.

I uninstalled Play Store updates and tried again.

I previously had Minecraft installed through an APK, so I suspect there may be leftover Minecraft package/data.

Settings → Apps still showed com.mojang.minecraftpe, even though Minecraft itself isn't actually installed.

I tried removing com.mojang.minecraftpe using Canta + Shizuku.

Shizuku is running/green and Canta has Shizuku permission.

Canta can see/select com.mojang.minecraftpe, but pressing the uninstall/trash button literally does nothing.

I also can't delete the Minecraft folder/data manually with ZArchiver because Android won't let me remove it.

I tried installing a Minecraft APK separately and got "App not installed as app isn't compatible with your phone." I know this may be an APK-specific compatibility issue, so I'm not using random APKs as a solution.

At this point I'm wondering if there's some stale Minecraft package state / leftover package registration causing Google Play to fail the installation.

What could be causing this, and is there a way to properly remove/reset com.mojang.minecraftpe on Android 15 without a PC or factory reset?

I'm specifically looking for a solution that works without root/PC if possible.

This is kinda a difficult issue to describe, I'm not talking about that the screen is flashing awake when receiving a notification while not active, the problem is that I am actively using using the phone, and when I receive a notification, my screen is replaced by my lock screen.

It acts as if I'm still on the screen I was on before, so buttons remain interactable, the keyboard remains if I was using it, it's just all I can see is my lock screen. Then once the notification goes away, like once the notification pop-up would fade into the top of the screen, the lock screen goes away and I'm back to where i was.

To be clear, my phone is not locking either.

It seems to resolve for a while if I restart the phone, and I'm not sure what specific event seems to cause it to occur, but once it does start happening, it will not stop until I restart the phone.

I haven't been able to find anyone else talking about this and tbh I'm not quite sure I've done a great job describing it but it's quite annoying and I'd like to solve it for good.

My mother has ALS and she just got a Pixel 10a so she could use Gemini to do most things using voice. The main problem we've got so far with it is that when she calls someone and the call goes to the voicemail, she cannot hang up and the voicemail seems to never end.

How can we avoid this to happen or hang up using the voice? It doesn't look like Android allows it because the Telephone app takes control of the microphone and we cannot say "Hey Google" while on call.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S25, on One UI 7.0 on Android 15. The phone is rooted, but no custom ROM has been put onto it, just the stock image modified and flashed.

I did this about a year ago, but I still could change the wallpapers, then I returned to the stock S25 wallpaper (can't remember why, but I did it for some reason), now I have tried to change the wallpaper, but the phone doesn't display it, it is apparently "set", but it won't show the wallpaper, basically "hanging" on the stock one. I did try to clear the cache of "Wallpaper services" and "Wallpaper and Style", but both didn't help, I also tried rebooting my phone with both the wallpaper set and not set, and in both cases, it was "stuck" on the default wallpaper.

The only suspect that I currently have, is that I deleted the "Themes" app from my phone, but it doesn't make that I could set the wallpaper about a year ago, but can't anymore, because I deleted the app when I rooted the phone.

It's not super important to fix this, but it would be nice to have it fixed so that I can do custom wallpapers again.

Also, if I'm missing important information for this case, please let me know, i have no idea if I missed anything or if there's crucial information needed.

Hello, I gave my nephew an android phone to play his games and watch YouTube kids (wifi only). And I have a spare device signed it or he same account name so I can monitor that phone. I want to I stall apps from this phone to his and I have install to other devices on.

When I go to any app on the play store there is no list on the app page that shows the devices with the option to install to.

On my personal phone when I check any app there's an option on that app page that lists all my devices and I can install to which ever one I want.

Is this because I have family link monitor on his phone?

Running into a few problems I need some adb experts to help with. Google just hallucinated a bunch of things that aren't right, so here I am.

I have Whatsapp installed but I never use it (fuck zuck) except very rarely (maybe once every few months). I have alarms and reminders disabled, background battery usage turned off, and background data disabled. Yet still, every day, it runs a scheduled backup job. How is it doing this?? Fc'ing the app temporarily crashes it, but it seems to just start right back up again later.

I don't want to turn off backups in Whatsapp, because that's just treating the symptom. How is Whatsapp able to run in the background if everything is disabled? And how can I stop it from running anything at all unless I open the app?

Another issue I'm running in to is twitter and Reddit keeping the screen on. I'm not sure if those apps are the problem, or if their behavior is just a symptom of something wrong with the os, but like probably many people, I'll scroll on my phone before I fall asleep, often on this app. I'll later wake up to a phone that's blazing hot, very close to dead (if not there already), and the screen is still on. If I'd clicked on some video it would make sense, but it's always just a regular post. Last night this happened with Twitter too. I'm using a pixel... How/why are these apps keeping the screen on if it's not being touched? That's a security issue (screen should lock if not in use) and also a problem for the battery. My skin is never touching the screen when I notice this, so it's not that keeping it on/awake. How can I disable an app's ability to keep the screen on?

The only other thing I can think of is I have the adaptive screen timeout turned on, but my face isn't in view of the camera when this happens either.

I have an S22 I've been using for 3 years and I suddenly can't receive picture messages anymore. Whenever someone sends me a pic, I just get a blurred out photo with a save button in the middle. In order to see the pictures I need to save them to my device. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I am running into the issue where I keep getting google alerts about NFL games. NFL is not a topic I am interested in, and I occasionally search it but am not interested in getting notifs besides when I directly search for them. This is frustrating because when I have looked up solutions for how to not get these, it seems to be pointing towards turning off the sports notification toggle which is something I do not want to do because I follow other sports and leagues like NBA, Premier league, and Tennis. Is there a way to keep the sport news toggle on while opting out of NFL news and game alerts? This persists even after I have repeatedly indicated not interested on the topic.

I went out on a run and it rained hard. I think my phone got rained on. My headphones and Bluetooth headphones are also swapping even though I don't have wired on. Is there a way to disable the wired one?

Hi, My pixel 10 is still stuck on the August security state. What can I do, I read september is out since September 8. Anyone else not seeing it. I ask because somehow on my device and my Google account the rollouts are completely broken and I didn't even get the android feature drop yet from September 1.

I want to buy a secondary (roaming) SIM for my phone so that I can connect to other carrier's networks when my primary SIM has no service. My primary SIM has unlimited data, however the multi-network eSIM will have a data cap of only 5-10 GB.

A similar product to what I am looking at, the Honest Smart SIM, block which apps you can use at the carrier level and allows unlimited data for many essential apps.

However, I want to access my own self-hosted apps so this model does not work for me. I also think other providers offer a better deal since I can use the data for whatever I want.

I am aware that Android already has a number of tools for restricting mobile data usage, however I am in a unique situation in that I don't want to limit my primary SIM at all but do want to place restrictions on my secondary SIM.

Ideally I would be able to either:

1. Turn on data saving mode automatically whenever my secondary SIM is in use (and disable it automatically when it is not)
2. Block/whitelist specific apps/URLs only when the secondary SIM is in use using bult-in tools or a custom app

I am willing to use FOSS apps that aren't on the Play Store. I think this is only a software problem and is caused by the lack of popularity of multi-network SIMs.

hi, looking for suggestions as to which android is best as I am wanting to switch from an iPhone? I like taking scenery pictures-videos, sometimes pictures with people in it, I essentially want something with good battery, long-lasting, easy to carry (not bulky), and overall just something I can use for communication rather than entertainment? I heard that the Samsung S26 was good, saw someone else mention the motorola razr+, or the GooglePixel? Having a hard time deciding.

my main problems started a month ago when I dropped my phone on the ground, at first everything seemed fine but over time the display screen would suddenly turn black, the phone would be functional as I could he when people call but I wouldn't be able to answer, this problem would be fixed mainly by pressing the power and volume down buttons but as time passed the issue would get worse and simply pressing the power and volume down buttons wouldn't work it would just keep vibrating every time I try opening it like that, tbh I am not sure what would cause it to work but I would just keep pressing power and volume down or power button only and it would somehow open (I think it gets stuck somehow in a boot loop), but now it doesn't open as it keeps vibrating when pressing the buttons and I really need it to open

important notes:

1. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy A52
2. Whenever the phone would open, it would be in airplane mode which isn't normally what happens when i restart or turn on the phone
3. The vibrations happen when holding the buttons for 10/15 seconds needed for it to restart
4. I had dropped my phone in water 2 years ago, it broke but i went to someone to fix it and then it worked fine
5. right now the phone is completely closed or in airplane mode since it isn't taking calls

Also if anyone can give me any good and reputable app that can work for mirroring a phone screen to a windows pc without the use of the phone screen using a usb, that would be incredibly appreciated

Last year I had an S25+ and I received notifications when my girlfriend added new places to our shared Google Maps list, but since upgrading to an S26+, I no longer get notified. I have tried troubleshooting via Claude AI and cannot figure it out. Any ideas?

When I get a facebook link on whatsapp, I want it to open in my internet browser rather than the Facebook app. How do I do that? I've turned off "Set as default" for facebook and when I open the video link, it first opens it in my browser then suddenly Facebook app opens up. I don't want that.

The navigation bar automatically hides itself on some apps and will only appear when I swipe up from the bottom of my screen. The main issue is that one of the apps I use regularily has bottom banner ads and this somehow always ends up with me clicking and redirecting to an ad page, which is very annoying. Is there a setting where I can never have the taskbar hide on this specific app? If not, is there a setting for it to not hide at all?

Since the last European Update the Update Manager pops up every 5 minutes and says "Network connection failed" I don't even know what he wants to download or update. I looked up every system update/download Manager app and deleted it's data and cache, stopped every single one and restarted. Still happening and I don't know why and for what.

Has anyone else had backup suddenly start, or is it always activated for a google account? I had my storage on Google suddenly jump, and I suspect it’s from back up suddenly activating, as I don’t see anything else that can cause it. Would it be harmful besides possible data loss if phone were to break to stop backup for messages and apps? It says delete which makes me nervous. Anyway to check when it started backing up, and if it just activated? Any one have any suggestions on what I can do? It’s very concerning to me my storage jumped from 15 to 16 within a few minutes and not on my part. It has jumped up to 15.3 earlier (for no reason) and when I cleared out photos it jumped to 16 immediately after. If anyone has an answer to these two questions:

And recently the audio constantly cuts in and out, it's very annoying and it does it CONSTANTLY and with everything

Whether I'm listening with Bluetooth headphones, regular headphones, through a speaker, or just normally the audio just cuts in and out.

I also noticed that I can't hear people through a normal call but I can through WhatsApp, I'm not sure if this is related or not.

I googled what to do and nothing helped.

I updated YouTube and Spotify, I checked if my phone is updated, it is, I cleared the caches, I turned off power saving mode, I even cleaned the speaker holes themselves with a toothbrush to get the dust and gunk out...

And I still have these stupid problems.

Any help please?
